Icing on the cake- they broke our brand new black&decker air conditioner after dropping it while moving it out of the truck. The guy, Chris, insisted it was only scratched and not internally damaged and refused to pay for it. I needed to get my household goods out of their storage quickly to stop the situation from getting worse. Just-In Time Moving was gracious enough to fit me into their schedule last minute. Their office was communicative, their estimate was thorough and clear, and the final bill matched what they estimated. The crew showed up on time, communicated throughout the day, and was professional, careful, and kind. This was not a simple move. They had to unload my furniture and belongings from storage crates, unwrap items that had been wrapped by the prior mover, take care with everything, rewrap my furniture, load it, transport it, and unload it into my new storage unit. They completed the entire job in 7.5 hours. By comparison, the prior mover had tried to bill me 16.5 hours for the move into storage alone. Just-In Time Moving did a fantastic job, and I am extremely grateful they were willing to help me on short notice. After the experience I had before them, their professionalism, clear communication, and honest billing meant everything. My advice to anyone hiring movers: read all reviews carefully, do not take online ratings at face value, check whether the company is listed with moversaz.org, review BBB ratings, and read how the company responds to 1-star and 2-star reviews. So I called back in 24 hours to accept the spot at $134.00 and now I was told that it is not available at this price and is higher then what I am paying now for a larger space due to what they say is the market price! Confused by this statement. Not sure what they mean by this but I am sure after posting this I will get a notice of another increase because I posted this . I am sure they would tell me it's market condition when they send me the increase notice.. I would hope sometime I would get a notice that the market is lower and they would decrease our space cost.
