These guys showed care in handling my furniture. They also stand behind their work unlike many movers. I would call on them again

This company has a lot of potential and the owner Larry Wright is extremely fair and compassionate!…read more I had a horrible pack up experience at my previous location and this crew not only handled my unload respectfully but charged me a reasonable price. With a little more organization I strongly believe they would be the best movers in Topeka Kansas!! Thank you guys again!!

When I was on the phone with Mr. Wright he said typically 30 pieces of furniture and 50 boxes would…read morerun about 5 to $600. He came to our home to take a look at what we had. We had fewer than 30 pieces of furniture but several boxes in our two bed room (full basement) home. Mr. Wright determined moving our contents would take at least 8 hours with two men and himself and the cost would be $1000. We were going two and a half miles so we thought it might be less expensive. We asked if a significant number of the boxes were gone would it affect the price. We were told that it definitely would affect the price. My husband and I, the day before Wrights were to come, moved several pickup truck and car loads of boxes. We began around 10:30 and worked until about 7 PM on moving boxes. I wanted a particular piece of furniture in the basement. If something won't fit-then it won't fit. They broke the light on the staircase wall. It is now hanging by the wires. No, they didn't pay for it or for the electrician to replace it. They began our "eight hour move" around 9:30 AM and were completely finished by 1:30 PM. They charged $1000. Had we known there would be no price reduction for their being done with our move 4 hours and countless boxes they didn't have to move. We would have left all the boxes for them to move. Don't consider using them unless you like over paying for services. We have gouged walls. scraped corners, you know about the light and I can't count the times they ran into the baseboards. The work they did was possibly worth $500-$600. Minus the electrician and the stairwell light.

When you picture a leaky dishwasher, you probably imagine a puddle all over the floor, right? Well,…read moreours didn't make a scene; it just quietly did a number on our flooring and cabinets. By the time we caught on, we found ourselves in need of a full kitchen remodel! Before diving into that, though, we had to clear out the appliances. For us, that meant moving a gas stove, refrigerator, freezer, and our kitchen table. Being older folks, we definitely didn't want to tackle this ourselves! After some research, we decided to go with a local gem, 7 Brothers Moving in Olathe, Kansas. Honestly, it was one of the best decisions we could have made. I scheduled everything online, and then I heard from Quinn. He was super friendly and went over all the details with me. Their minimum service time is 2 hours, which totally makes sense because they are just that efficient! If they charged by the hour, they'd be in a tough spot. They arrived, moved our appliances, swept up the area, and took boxes and the table to the basement--all in under an hour! They even asked if I needed anything else done. I was blown away by their awesome service! It was a no-brainer to call them again when it was time to bring the appliances back into the kitchen. So, if you've got any moving to do, whether you're just rearranging things at home or making a big move, I can't recommend 7 Brothers enough. Here's their contact information. I highly recommend them. They have a two hour minimum and they were definitely finished before the two hours were up, so they asked if there was anything else I needed moved. They were willing to help me with anything I needed.

Technomovers is great at communication. We contacted them a month prior to our move to get a quote…read moreon our move. Daniel Rench (C.E.O.) came down and did a walk through in my home in Osage City and quoted us on moving our furniture and household goods to our new home in Topeka. He quoted us an estimated 6 hours for a move, but capped the cost at 7 hours, just in case the move ran over, unlike other companies that quoted us an hourly price and if it took them more time than we were quoted, it was just too bad, we owed what we owed. Once our booking was made, Technomovers was available for any questions we had regarding our move that we hadn't thought of during our walk through, such as, did we need to empty the chest freezer in the garage (no, we didn't... they managed to move it FULL), did we need to empty chest of drawers (again, no, they moved them full), did we need to disassemble furniture (yes, we did, in an effort to save time), etc. They were always more than happy to answer our questions to make the move as smooth as possible. The day before our move, Technomovers called to confirm our booking for 10 a.m. They arrived at precisely 10 a.m. ready to work. They immediately assessed the boxes and furniture and began loading. Both men worked continually through the heat of the day, loading the truck. They worked very quickly and did not dilly dally or waste time. Once the truck was loaded, the movers drove from Osage City to Topeka, only stopping to grab a bite to eat, and met us at the new house. They put down some sticky film on the light colored living room carpets as pathways to prevent any damage and began unloading the truck, placing items in each room we requested, including upstairs in individual bedrooms and downstairs into the basement. They were very careful with our belongings as well as the walls and door jams as they were bringing things in. The refrigerator was a VERY tight squeeze and they managed to get it in without any significant damage to the refrigerator or the walls/door jam. The move took about an hour longer than the movers had expected, but even once the cap on price had been reached, the movers did not slow down. They continued to work as diligently as they had the entire time. I was quite impressed. So impressed, we bought them pizza for dinner! We are a retired military family, and we have done A LOT of moves. Technomovers is, BY FAR, the best moving company we have ever had the pleasure to work with. They are careful and considerate and very hard working. Both movers handled themselves with extreme professionalism the entire time they were in our home. We will definitely be using them in the future and recommending them to anyone we know that is planning on moving anything.

The older gentleman was nice, but the younger loudly complained the entire time and made me feel like I was in the wrong for hiring them within minutes of them arriving. They broke my $500 bedframe (and spent a long time loudly argued about telling me), and offered me a pathetic $40 discount for it because I could "fix it with tape", which is both incorrect and insulting. While unpacking I've noticed several other problems such as stains on the couch, damage to two cabinets, and they didn't hook up my adjustable base. I haven't had a chance to check out everything, and I'm especially dreading having to lift a large TV somehow by myself because they left it on the floor. Job felt very incomplete, slow, and unprofessional.
