A bunny drew me inside! Amazing place!!! Eye candy!!! I love this shop so much. Such a fabulous find. The owner's husband, Alan (who is so sweet and adorable) credited her with all the fabulous finds there. (And I have to give him so much credit too. She was not on the premises, and he was just wonderful, helpful and kind.) The "jewels" here to experience (prints, trinkets, tchotchkes, lovely scarves and wraps, jewelry and more) are just fabulous, as is the layout that just keeps your eyes turning on such wonders from so many artists. Everywhere I looked I saw incredible finds. Glass wonders with jellyfish. Beautiful Ayala Bar jewelry (my favorite jewelry artist). Gorgeous pottery from south of the border. As I first stated, I was "called" in from some lovely outdoor sculptures outside as I was walking the pier and found a majestic bunny, whom I've named "Two Moons Rabbit" and who now graces my outdoor space. My wife and I were visiting my sister in Mt. Vernon, WA, and we took a day trip to LaConnor. Our first stop was Two Moons Gallery. The items were wonderful, and the clerks were very helpful and friendly. My wife spotted some earrings she really liked, but she felt they were a little out of our price range, so she decided not to get them. After she walked away, I asked the clerk, "Did she like them?" "Definitely," replied the clerk. So, it being the holidays and all, I said, "Ring 'em up." The clerk quickly and slyly (my wife was still in the store) took care of the sale, and I was able to surprise my wife later with the beautiful earrings. We had a wonderful experience, so I highly recommend if you're ever in LaConnor, WA, stop in Two Moons Gallery. read more

"Love LaConner" is the slogan for a town with plenty for a visitor to appreciate! There I found diverse shops, restaurants, coffee spots, clothing stores and best of all; art galleries. My favorite of the many gift and art galleries is Two Moons. This store is a collection of artfully curated local artists, stylish clothing, and unique home decor and gift items. The owners Alan and Dominique have grown their business over 26 years by providing the very best of customer service and an true desire to find just the right treasure for each visitor. Shopping there is a pleasure for sure! I cannot leave the store without a lovely scarf, or jewelry or even a special greeting card. I find myself returning anytime a special occasion or holiday requires a gift! I bet you will, too. read more

This store is so much fun! We visited La Conner this week with our family and everyone really enjoyed this shop. Lots of little goodies and artistic creations all through out. Family favorites were definitely the ceramic woodland animal ornaments and the hand carved wooden ducks. I loved the rainbow glasses - all made of plastic and just beautiful with their iridescent reflections. Perfect for home and especially backyard where we prefer to use plastic dinnerware. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back to shop again soon! read more

So lovely! This is a gallery with a bit of upscale retail store folded in. The taste of the owners is impeccable. Everything is gorgeous -- so well-chosen, so beautifully done. We bought three pieces of outdoor statuary, and I can hardly wait to return for more. Next visit I will focus on their lovely fabrics and tableware. Came to this today because it looked like it has alot of cool stuff in it, but the second I walked into the store a lady started to follow my family around like we were gonna still something. When my daughter picked up a stuffed animal cat and hugged the lady told us she can't that because someone is gonna buy it. Well I was gonna buy it but not now. The lady went on to tell another person in our party that this store and La Conner in general is not a good place for children. All I see in this town is families with children. As others have mentioned - employees here are rude and condescending to people with children. Literally the second we walked through the door with our kids we were confronted abruptly by a rude woman who told us to hold our kids hands at all times. If my kids break something (which they never have even in way nicer stores than this trinket peddling junk shop), then I'll buy it. How about you give your customers the benefit of the doubt and trust them to parent their children themselves. If you see kids misbehaving, that's one thing, but to just treat everyone with kids like trash just means you are a horrible person. read more

Spark plugs re-cycled into toy bi-planes, fascinating mobiles and balance toys, interesting party and bar dishes, damascus blades ... Two Moons has a very eclectic stock and changes frequently. It's a difficult store to walk out of empty-handed. read more

What I saw of this shop looked very interesting and I probably would have purchased something. However, I, along with my four-year old daughter and husband, only got about six feet into this store before leaving because it was made ABUNDANTLY and IMMEDIATELY clear to us by both of the store employees that children are not welcome in this store. The first employee came right over to us and feigning friendliness proceeded to tell me that this store is "difficult" for children and that they "could get hurt." My husband asked how they might be hurt considering that it looked very similar to the other art and gift shops in La Conner and Anacortes, which are not hazardous environments. For context, my daughter is very used to being in these types of stores and knows that she is not to touch and if permitted, must gently touch. She was also on this day sandwiched between my husband and I, i.e. she had at least one pair of eyeballs on her at all times. I'm a respectful person and I've taught my daughter to respect other people's property, particularly art and hand-made items. That said, I was directed by an employee, even though my daughter was right next to me and my husband, to hold her hand. I complied and took her hand. Apparently, this wasn't enough. Not more than a couple of minutes later, another store employee told us again that this store is "difficult" for kids. I politely and firmly told her that we would just leave. Both of the employees hurriedly told us that we should stay. We just left. This store can't have it both ways; either you let me shop with my closely-supervised daughter and likely take my money or I take my daughter and my money out the door. I strongly suggest that this store's manager consider posting a sign on the door letting people know that this store is NOT okay for kids, even well-behaved kids. If we would have seen that sign, we, as a family, would have gladly kept on walking and I would have very gladly come back later alone. read more
