She was so extremely courteous, understanding professional, and extremely efficient. Olivia was able to coordinate a prescription refill for me in minutes. Shingles is extremely painful, and her professionalism and kindness were exceptional. The Rx and guidance helped relieve the very painful symptoms while I was on vacation. Within this last year the store went through a rebranding, signs and colours changed and the inventory was updated to carry all the 'Western Family' brand items. However, compared to the other 'Safe-On-Foods' stores we know (e.g. the one in Panatella Hill, Calgary) this is still far away from a typical store. We are almost never able to get everything we need by visiting this one store only and some items like the 'Trifle' never made it to Cochrane. As Safeway is no real alternative to us (buy 5 and the price is not as ridiculous as for 1 item) we started shopping for groceries in Calgary on the way home from work again.

The Safeway checker was there and we told her our Safeway card was refused. She was rude and told us it doesn't work if you're from the US. So because of her rudeness we put the sodas to the side. I would have taken them back to the aisle but due to her bad attitude I left them there. She could have bypassed the card reader and offered us the discount.
