Typically olive oil bar stores are located in big cities so it's a real treat to have one located in the charming small town of Beaver. Be sure not to miss it as the store's entrance is a few steps down a walkway sandwiched between two other buildings on the main strip. I'm a regular customer and just as the olive oil are swapped out of different offerings following the Sun from the Northern Hemisphere to the Southern Hemisphere, there are enough flavors of the dark and white vinegars to have something different each season (my personal rotation Peach in summer, Apple in Autumn, Cranberry in Winter, Elderberry in Spring). Great selection of flavored olive oils in addition to the plain variety from mild to robust. Stop in to sample which ones catch your fancy either for your own kitchen and/or your favorite gift recipients. They offer various sized bottles and nice wrapping of colored tissue paper and ribbon. For frequent shoppers, they offer a reward program to earn a free bottle! And a bonus treat is they partnered with a local honey producer to offer various jars of regular and flavored honey. It's a big city fun shopping experience in a small town fun to shop, stay, and eat.

What a great experience! I went in here to pick up a present for my aunts birthday and the woman working there was so helpful. She talked me through everything and let me sample anything I wanted. I settled on a more traditional olive oil and a blood orange one! Thank you for fantastic service!

Not MY favorite flavors but I can't complain since my husband was trying to give me a nice gift . I tend to favor fruity vinegar options

She even took the time to wrap each of my 5 sets of small oils/vinegars in a bag with a ribbon.

Eric's was a dining option chosen by a diverse group of people seeking a takeout option that appeared to suit everyone's tastes. I was one in this group and the only one to choose the Chicken Stir Fry. I like stir fry. I make variations of it at home and it's generally a filling dish with a lot of fresh ingredients and the familiar Asian flavors we all love.....ginger, garlic, sesame, soy, etc. First issue with this particular 'stir fry'? The chicken was described on the menu as being sautéed. There is absolutely NO WAY this chicken had ever seen the surface of a sauté pan. It was bland and left zero doubt that it had been boiled, cubed, and simply thrown in the mix at the last minute. Secondly, the menu claims that the dish includes water chestnuts (common in stir fry). There were none. Not a one. And I LOVE water chestnuts. I will tell you what there was though. Grapes. There were grapes in my stir fry. Hot, deflated, sad little grapes. The vegetable (and fruit) medley also included asparagus and green beans. I mean, I do like both vegetables, but rarely when they are covered in a gallon of salty teriyaki with some boiled chicken and flaccid grapes.... Which brings me to my next point. There was so much teriyaki that my rice was drowning. The whole dish read more like a sweet soup than a chicken stir fry. It was awful. Simply awful. I wish I could wrap up this critique with some small redeeming comment regarding my first and only experience with Eric & Renee's Gourmet Take-Out Shoppe. Unfortunately, when your entire meal is destined for the trash bin, it's hard to find the silver lining.

So flavorful and packed with the spicy meat! Each order comes with two corn tortillas and there's a station with the fix-ins that you can add. They also have avocado sauce, roasted jalapenos, cilantro, diced onions, etc. You go inside the convenience/grocery store to the register to pay for the tacos you want! Unfortunately, I do feel inclined to leave this 1 star review for the safety of other customers. I spend around $40 at La Poblanita, I bought some interesting snacks and stuff like that. It wasn't until I got home that and more closely inspected all these items that I realized that almost ALL of them are expired. Not just recently, half of those being expired in 2022. I bought various popsicles and every single one of them were heavily expired and appeared to have been completely melted and then refrozen again, and unbelievably freezer burnt. These popsicles contain dairy so I consider this a serious safety concern. I was so pleased with the inside of the store that I didn't even think not to trust the items being sold. I am shocked that these have gone unnoticed. What a shame. Please be aware of this when shopping here.

They have a huge selection of chocolate based (and some non-chocolate) based candies. They also have a ton of sugar free options which is great for those watching their sugar. We tried a variety of treats which were tasty- I particularly enjoyed the chocolate caramels. I was a little disappointed that the kind girls working behind the counter couldn't explain what some of the candies were, but they did offer to let me try one which made up for it some. We also tried a box of their chocolate covered strawberries, but were a bit disappointed as they were a little sour and not very good. However the other chocolates we got were amazing and worth returning!

I walked in when they opened the door today. It was just the owner there. I chatted with him a little while, apparently he and his wife own the place. He said the homemade sour dough English muffin with egg, sausage and cheese is a good choice so I listened. It don't take long for him to fix it. They have many types of sourdough bread and their sourdough English muffins are awesome. They also make some pastries and have cookies and usually a few cakes. Since it is Thanksgiving this time they had a couple nice looking pumpkin pie pies. They were quite busy because of custom orders for the Thanksgiving holiday. But there was no line and I was in and out quickly. You can park right outside in the small lot. Their sign is a little bit hard to see from the road, but they are in the plaza with a pizza place and the liquor store near the shop and save supermarket on third Avenue. I highly recommend that if you need sourdough bread that you check this place out.
