I also explained that I worked and see clients in my office and would have to block off time for the cleaning process. She indicated that if a deep cleaning is required, it will take approximately 4 hours, and their service tech would be able to determine arrival. I blocked off my calendar accordingly. When the tech arrived, he stated he was here to clean the HVAC, which would be about 2 hours. I asked about what if you need to do a deep cleaning for mold. He said that a deep cleaning would need to be scheduled separately as he was told this was only a standard cleaning and would not have time to perform a deep cleaning. I was confused and explained that the woman stated he would do deep if I needed to. He said that if a deep cleaning were required, it would need to be scheduled. I asked if there was an additional fee for them to come back, and he stated yes but was unaware of the charge. When I received my invoice, the labor breakdown charge for 135.00 and a separate charge for 20.00 plus tax for coil cleaner for 156.20, I contacted the office to pay but questioned why I was being charged for the coil cleaner that should be included in the service. The agent said that it was not. If I paid 20.00 for the cleaner, why do I not have the contents of the remaining cleaner? She scoffed at me. I also explained that coil cleaner at Home Depot is less expensive. She said I am sure it is, but we use our product, and this is a business, and as a business, there is a markup. I told her that she would lose my patronage based on her attitude and disregard for customers. She said, look, if we are going to lose you over 20.00, I don't know what to say--are you going to pay your bill with a credit card or not. I told her that she would not lose me over 20.00 but what appears to be a questionable charge and poor customer service. The woman was rude and not concerned other than collecting payment. I told her to send the invoice to collections, at which point she hung up the phone. I later called back to speak to an owner or manager to discuss my experience and to pay with my credit card---I was sent to voice mail. I left a message requesting that a supervisor or owner contact me. Certainly not impressed. It is hard to believe they have been in business for over 13 years if customers are treated poorly for inquiring.

A neighbor recommended Kinzinger HVAC, Inc and I gave a call during a very unusually warm and busy spring time here in the PA mountains, Dave came out a few days later and went over the home layout, the system size and specs, he called me a few days later and gave me his recommendation as well as a lower and higher model units. He gave me a good middle of line Carrier unit, and we agreed to a price which is reasonable and we agreed to have him install the unit he recommended. He told us there was a 4-6 week delay in getting new units due to the Covid-19 shut down of manufacturing but would keep me apprised of any updates. Well maybe 12 days later Dave called me saying our new unit came in and could schedule to do it the next day since it has been so warm and humid up here and he knew we were suffering silently in our new home. Dave his son Shawn and an apprentice Tyler showed up at 7:50 AM and said he was ready to go with the install. They started about 8:00 AM and by 12:00 PM in the afternoon we had a new installed unit in our home. He ran thru testing and since it was a very humid day he said lets see how the AC does. Shawn turned on the AC and a few minutes later I said the unit isn't running, I didn't hear anything, Shawn went out came back in and said the compressor is on. We went outside and the new unit is ULTRA QUIET and you can have a normal conversation right next to it without raising your voice!!! Let me just say, if you have HVAC problems and need a new unit or repairs do yourself a huge favor call Dave and Shawn from Kinzinger HVAC Inc. They were professional, courteous, friendly and informative. He may not be the cheapest price (Not by much) but I truly believe you get what you pay for and Kinzinger HVAC, Inc. is pure gold standard! When they left they did a final walk thru of the areas to make sure everything was as it was when they arrived, Almost like they were never there except we now have a new EXCELLENT HVAC unit installed as well as a new friendship with a excellent family business!!! I can highly recommend them and I have already referred a friend to them!

After asking for recommendations on FB for a water heater replacement, this guy direct messaged me…read more I gave him a chance since he new some of the people I did. He seemed to do a good job when he did show up. It was an emergency and I had over half of the job's money. He said he'd wait 10 days to cash the final $1000 so I post-dated the check for payday. Then, 2 days prior to deposit over a weekend, he and his wife call and text my phone on a Saturday night; accusing me of stealing and "screwing" them as they tried to deposit my check 3 days prior to the post-date. OMG. I tried to tell them to discuss with their bank as they may be holding it and to just wait and see. I told them it's up to the bank on when to deposit post-dated checks and I have nothing to do about that. But they both wouldn't stop. Later that night, he called and admitted he was drinking and started yelling and slurring his speech; called me a thief and made judgements about me as I moved here and am a single mother. OMG. I could hear his wife yelling, "hang up the phone". Then she texted me later claiming she had his phone and continued to call me a thief. I felt very creeped out. I will now will have to see if his bank deposits the check on the next business day or if I have to write a new one. These people DO NOT know how to run a business. They bragged about only taking checks and say they charge more for credit cards; yet they don't advertise anywhere what surcharge they are doing. I should've looked for BBB owners or called more people than to answer some messenger note from a stranger on FB. Lesson learned. He installed a new unit... sober (I think) ... yet I'm sure I was over charged and later harassed and accused of being a thief. Who's the thief here? Keep looking. I'd rather pay top dollar for a guy with a store front than to take my chances with these two dysfunctional nutcases. I'm sure I'll never get an apology after their bank deposits my check next business day. I'm sorry, but a good install wasn't worth harassment and smearing my character just because the owner got drunk and can't run a business properly. Too risky. Now I wonder if I should have the install inspected by someone else. Ugh. - I just found him all over public records pa docket sheets. I shouldn't be surprised. I'm all for people cleaning up their act... but his harassment docket sheets go back decades. Don't hire this guy. I seriously am worried about safety. :(

He answered right away and came right out to our home within 30 minutes to help get the pipe repaired so we could have heat. He also was able to finish replacing multiple elbows and fittings that had been leaking in our system. He was very efficient. Kevin was the first to respond. I couldn't be happier with the service. We are only there on weekends and he had no issue with meeting me there on Saturday morning. He pointed out some issues with earlier fixes that were not done correctly. He took care of all issues. When I complained to Carolyn (the owner's wife) she denied it was there problem, and their employee would never do that. I recently called to have the yearly maintenance done and left a message. When Carolyn called back, she had an attitude which I dealt with before, so I hung up on her. I won't be using this company again.

Absolutely HORRIBLE,…read more We are a subcontractor for a cable company and we needed a plastic drain fixed the one of our UG crews damaged. I spoke with Carolyn the owner, and she declined our business. She stated that she was not paid by another subcontractor of the cable company in the past, and now she wasn't taking any business from any subcontractors of the cable company. I offered to pay her with a Company credit card immediately, to insure that they would be paid promptly and she still declined our business. Unbelievable.

This guy is amazing!…read more He was very quick to respond to my calls and texts, came immediately out to give a quote, received the quote within 24 hours , worked with us on the price (very fair) and he got the job done within a few days. He even thanked us a few days later for giving him the opportunity to do our project which is very rare these days. To top it all off, his work is excellent! I would highly recommend this guy to anyone and I am a very tough critic so that is saying something. Lol!
