This place only has three reviews? Three! Well, it's now going to have four. It's a relatively new store in Valley Fair Mall which seems to be losing business's faster than you can say lobsta mac and cheese. Still, this place has a survived for a few months, and I say, good for them! In a mall which has tried really hard to stick its nose up in the air, this place offers interesting goods and very reasonable prices. Sure, most of the things in here are items you really don't need to live your life, but any place that has coffee cups with bulldogs on them, you're going to get my seal of approval. You better believe it. I like this place, It's a fun little shop and I hope they are able to last in the Mall which seems to be losing shops quicker than the Titanic sank. It's a worthy addition.

Cool stuff but you have to watch their prices. There was a Rolling Stones tote my wife wanted. They had one hanging in the front with stuff in the pockets to show the stuff you can put in it. We saw the price tag-$40. Cool. We went to grab one from behind the display one and noticed it was $50. Wait a minute. We asked the guy and he said it was $50 and trailed off about licensing or something. My wife then said, well we will buy the one marked $40. Uh...no it will be $50. After trying to get our point across that it should be $40 we just gave up, even though it's ILLEGAL to have the $40 price tag on it and not sell it for that. Will not shop there again.

Price on the receipt is $10 more than the price tagged on the product! I get it, it's Typo duh.

Beware and make sure you check your receipt before leaving this store. They charged me $10 more than the price tagged on the product, I found out when I got home. Well...now I know, it's typo duh. We live 45 minutes away so won't bother coming back, gas would've cost more.

This store is too cute! I want everything here! Some items are a tad pricey, but everything is pretty reasonably priced! Love this new addition to the mall!

Yay for another cute store located inside the mall! I love stationery stuff and this store is filled with cute note cards, note books, stickers, and other cute random stuff like tumblers, mugs, magnets, etc. There's some reasonable priced items, but most of the stuff is kind of pricey. It's like a Hallmark store, but more cute. I didn't have much time to explore the inside of the store, but I will be back cause I love cute stuff and I love stationery stuff :)

This place is ridiculously cute. It's a stationary store that's perfect for getting cute gifts for yourself, coworkers, or loved ones. It's also just fun to walk through. We had a few chuckles walking through the store.

Large Wall Letters: 4 for $10 What a great buy!

What a wonderful store dedicated to gifts that don't break the bank. I almost walked past this store but I am so happy I did not. They have popular themes, for multiple ages, such as, star wars, batman, superman, etc. They also have fun/funny stationary and personalized themed accessories such as wall lettering, glass, or mugs. Their prices are on the reasonable side and always have deals. So if you're looking for a small and cheap gift for a family member or friend go to Typo. A bonus is part of your purchase goes towards a good cause.

It shares the same building with the Mitsuwa Market, so, of course, the shop is much smaller than the other ones out there, making it a bit more cramped. With this in mind, the books, stationery, gifts, and other goods here aren't as impressive as say a standalone Kinokuniya (common sense) or the ones that are located in malls. Or maybe I'm just spoiled by the options that I have in SoCal. It's not bad when you're in the area, but if you're a tourist and want a more comprehensive Kino experience, I would say your best bet is the Japantown SF location. However, it's still nice to stop by and see what cute stuff that they have.

I still had a great time checking out all of the adorable merchandise. This shop is attached to Mitsuwa Market and you enter through the food court. This is a busy shopping center with lots of stores and restaurants; parking can be problematic on weekends.

After visiting dozens across the state, we know a great bookstore when we see one. Leigh's Favorite Books is hands down one of the best we've ever been to. The store has a fantastic selection of books and is very well organized, which makes browsing easy and enjoyable. I always love seeing staff picks in bookstores, and this place had plenty across a great variety of genres. They also offer a book buyback program for store credit, which is a fantastic option for readers who prefer to keep their shelves from overflowing. They also carry used books at discounted prices. I personally love used books because they have character, and the bindings are already nicely broken in, which makes them even easier to read. Leigh's Favorite Books also earns our unofficial award for the best non-book inventory of any bookstore in California. Most shops carry the usual boring gift-store items, but this place had a genuinely fun and unique selection. They had such a fun assortment of random items that we wanted to purchase just about everything they had lol. The service from Becky was exceptional. When I mentioned that I read across many genres and especially enjoy biographies, she personally recommended one and even wrote the title down on a sticky note for me. When we talked about our road trips visiting bookstores, she also suggested a trip to Vermont, where you can get a bookstore passport stamped along the way. She was incredibly friendly and great to talk with. We can't wait to come back and pick up more books.

Every area has been well thought out and has a lot of different items for everyone. I didn't come in thinking I'd leave with anything but ended up finding a birthday gift a beautiful book about the ocean for a kiddo. I also found these tiny boxes that you turn and they play a classical song so that came with me too. I wanted to buy all the cards! I saw a woman walking around and let her know that her space was beautiful curated. She was very kind and I later learned she is the owner. She rung up my order and after asking if she had any wrapping for my book she found some leftover and wrapped up my gift. Gwen was very kind and has taken a lot of consideration on the items she displays at her store. They are beautiful and unique items in this store. I believe the price I paid was worth the unique value. There are signs posted to not take photos of the items inside the store so I couldn't get any while I was there but trust me the space is beautiful and the items one of a kind. I will definitely return and recommend anyone to come visit and find that unique gift for the special people in your life.
