This place will not let you down. It's beautifully set up with fresh flowers, cards, little gifts, balloons and even jewellery. There are pre-made bouquets which I have purchased twice while on the go. One had lovely rustic looking flowers with a small apple in the bunch. They were much loved by the recipient, well wrapped in brown crepe paper and a few bits of burlap and ribbon. I've also went in and asked them to make me up a bouquet of blue coloured flowers for a new Mum of a baby boy. I named my price and a gorgeous arrangement with blue hydrangeas and tall yellow flowers was born. They're very competitive prices considering a bunch of flowers will sometimes cost you $15-$20 at Safeway or Coles. For similar prices you can get a much spendier looking bouquet that's wrapped nicely and includes the plant food. The employees are very friendly as well. There's usually good music playing and a good vibe. I was chatting to one employee, manager or owner I assume, and he was saying that they won first prize in the Melbourne flower show and they were a late entry. Melbourne Souvenirs is easy to find but it's a tiny shop packed to the brim. It will be a little tight in here but it's well worth it because they have some nice quality items. Pens, face towels, phone holders, bags, socks, keychains, plushes and coin purses. I don't even use face towels but I bought them anyway. $9 for a pen? Ok! Of course, they have other Aussie souvenir items that are non-Hello Kitty.
