I selected a 10x10 unit, entered my payment information, paid upfront, then received the lease agreement by email to review and sign. Once everything was complete, I was sent my gate access code. Two weeks later, after driving across the country, I arrived, entered the facility with no issues, and moved in without ever needing to speak to anyone. The process was incredibly simple and convenient. One helpful tip for first-time renters: the small plastic numbered "lock" on the unit isn't your actual lock. It's just a temporary seal that you're supposed to twist and break off before installing your own padlock. The unit doesn't come with a lock, so be sure to bring one. I picked up a padlock at the Love's right around the corner, and the unit can accommodate up to three locks if needed. I've had a great experience so far. The 10x10 unit is the perfect size and honestly feels like an extension of my home with all the extra storage space. The pricing is very reasonable, and everything was exactly as expected when I arrived. My only suggestion would be to install taller fencing around the property. I understand the facility has other security measures in place, but the fence itself appears easy to climb or get over. Other than that, the entire experience has been excellent, and I would definitely recommend this storage facility.

While the staff have always been exceptionally helpful, professional and polite I was dismayed when…read moreI opened my storage unit and discovered tons of mouse and rat poop all over my boxes and tubs. I had to throw out a lot of my belongings due to the damage caused by the rodents. To make things worse there were dead mice all over and a dead rat. I also found a chunk of rat poison someone had placed in the unit. When I asked the owner why I was never notified of a rodent problem I was told that they never opened my unit and they never put poison in any units. I was also told that rodents can travel from unit to unit and that "many customers place food in their units" and that the poison was probably carried from another unit to mine. My husband and I then examined the unit and, sure enough, along the sliding door on each end at the bottom there is a space where rodents can indeed move from one unit to another. Bottom line is don't use these units if at all possible and, if you do, use only plastic or metal containers that seal and check the unit periodically to make sure a rat hasn't chewed through any containers. Obviously don't put any furniture or items that a rodent can get to and destroy.
