Convenient, fresh and close by. Those are the things I liked about this U-pick location. We got to pick the tomatoes. We wanted to pick strawberries but they didn't have on the fields so I bought what they had there. I also got parsley, basil and cilantro. All this for $8.50 Not Bad considering that they were fresh! The two best things were the smile on my daughter's face when she was picking up the tomatoes and the fresh smell of my vegetable and fruits in my car. Conveniente, fresco y cerca.

The owner answered my call within 2 ring. She spoke English that I understood well and she was friendly and helpful. I forgot her name but both she and her husband came out to greet us and a couple other families. She pointed us to some buckets with wheels and gave us a cutter. She will also weigh the fruits for you. She is very fair with her prices. It's easy to get carried away and pick 20-30lbs of fruits but for just the 2 of us, we hauled out 13lbs of Longan. Yippee!! There's other fruits too such as bananas, sugar apples, jackfruit, mango, milk fruit but sadly they weren't ready yet. They do allow you to walk around on your own and take photos which was a lot of fun if it hadn't been so hot & humid. Do bring plenty of water. Maybe a bottle of spray water if you have it. Leave your purse in the car so you can be hands free. Spray some mosquito spray and sun screen if you aren't used to Florida weather. Otherwise have fun!!

I enjoyed an outing with my cousins here and treated myself to a dozen rolls and a vanilla shake. There's space to just hang out, enjoy some other sweet treats available by a food truck, and sit down on benches. Leashed doggies we're here to accompany and made some friends along the way. The menu has stayed the same with pies, rolls, and breads. Not all veggies are available they use to have but still the mos5 "popular" veggies remain. They still seperate the baked items from the shakes and drinks. I came on a weekend and there was practically no line which was unusual for me but appreciated. The smells, tasted, and feels are still the same. I'm glad someone took over but kept the tradition.

While I thought it was a pretty solid cinnamon roll, there was nothing really overly exciting about it. It was just a decent cinnamon roll. We also tried the strawberry milkshake and I will say that was also pretty good, especially on a hot Florida afternoon. I appreciated the real strawberry flavor. Additionally there wasn't a lot to do when we got there. Maybe it was because we were there at the end of the season, but from what I could tell there wasn't really only the bakery and milkshakes. Again, solid option but I had heard so much about this place and just don't quite understand the viral nature of this place. But overall a good thing to do to spend an open late afternoon

As is typical of these meat markets, it was busy on Saturday with people lining up to purchase from the meat counter. 3 order takers were doing a good job of keeping things moving along fairly smoothly. We purchased entraña limpia (trimmed skirt steak) that has the silver skin (gristle) removed for $8.99 per pound. This is the more expensive cut than the entraña sin limpiar which is $6.99 per pound but you'll have to trim it at home. This can be quite a chore so be careful when ordering between the two. The packages range in size from 3-7 pounds. I bought a large 7lb package which was enough to serve about 10 people. The quality of the meat was excellent and very flavorful, equal if not better in quality than the choice cuts available in the higher end supermarkets and $2-$3 per pound cheaper. I grilled them up that afternoon and everyone raved about the flavor! We also purchased an excellent whole salmon filet for $5.99 per pound which we cooked Sunday evening. Although it was frozen and cryo-packed, It tasted fresh and was flaky and flavorful. At this price, the salmon was a bargain. Lastly, we also bought a 28 oz. pack of Don Quixote dry chorizo for $9.99 which is another bargain! So why only 4 stars? Well, it's because of the way this place us set up. You have put in your order at the counter where your given a numbered receipt for your order, you then go to another line where you go to the cashier and pay while another guy is pulling your items from their cold storage area. You never see your merchandise until you've paid for it. This kind of bugs me but I'll grin and bear it if I can enjoy these quality products at these bargain prices. I'll be coming back to sample their other meats and seafood offerings again very soon.

Many restaurants do an up charge for breakfast after a certain hour. I asked for eggs at 11:40 am and the manager said she couldn't make them for me. I didn't have appetite for lunch at that time so I drank coconut water for breakfast. :/ I love that the owners made a place for families and people to meet and take the kids. I am not a fan of keeping animals enclosed so anything to give them more space or land would be a plus for the animals. I'm also not a fan of seeing animals used to carry people and pretty much labor, they have no choice, they are captive and also have to work restlessly. The roads would be much better if they were paved as opposed to dust. It would make the experience a little more clean. The decorations could use a fancier upgrade. Either way it seems a lot of people enjoy the place. It's not a place I would frequent too often.

It's clearly geared toward kids, but we still had a good time as adults. We were able to pet the goats and sheep and talk with one of the staff members, who was friendly, patient, and happy to answer our questions. It made the visit feel welcoming rather than just a quick walk-through. There are a few growing pains, it seems. Some areas could use clearer signage, and the place felt a bit understaffed at times but nothing that ruined the experience. Overall, it's a worthwhile visit.
