Do not expect ta lot of different exhibitors, but the right amount. Some located outside, some on the pathway, and some in the rooms for events they have in here. Food and drink vendors can be found in this festival too. Great areas to enjoy your meal or simply seat down for some time. The vibe is so amazing! The landscapes were beautiful but we were excited about the animals too. The gardens close at 5:30 pm but they take the animals (donkeys, cow, goats and pig) away at 4 pm, which we didn't know. So they were being put away as we got there. The playground is nice, although not very big, my girls enjoyed it. The water park closes earlier than the rest of the gardens too. Overall a lot of the "experiences" seemed to be closed on the Sunday we visited. Not sure it was worth the drive.

Right when you walk in you're smell senses are pinched with fried, grilled, and grilled forms of pork. The venue is beautifully located in the builtmore hotel. The booths are wrapped around the upper deck and follows down to the lower level back terrace. The different restaurants are out here competing for the swine title! It was so nice to meet all the different restaurant owners and managers and here what they had to say and explain what they were serving. There was also booths of desserts and alcohol. Let's be real, it's isn't a party is we don't have drinks to wash down all this great food! We can't wait to do it again next year. It was held at the historic Biltmore Hotel 2nd floor main terrace. Parking was also easy and free. Got here around 5 and there was already a line to get in but it moved pretty fast once the event opened. We were immediately enticed by several vendors as we made our way in. There were about 3 bars and each one was serving 2 or 3 specialty cocktails. FYI, there were making the drinks strong so no complaints here, lol :) Our favorites were the Old Fashioned and the Havana Club Café. As far as food, it's definitely hard to name them all because there were so many chefs and vendors. We started to our right and there were about 10 stations including Finka, Tacology, Sakaya, and Chef Adrianne just to name a few. Downstairs by the dancefloor and live stage, I think there were another 8 or more vendors including Bulla, Ortanique, Twisted Fork Kitchen, Society Modern American Kitchen, and Ariete. By the time we went back upstairs to check out the left side of the terrace, we were already very full. It was quite painful to walk but worth it :) I can honestly say that everything that we were able to try was awesome. However, there was one dish that really stood out. The ribs from Proof Miami. Fall off the bone and juicy, and whatever marinade they use, it was super tasty. Another station that made a statement was Chef Adrianne's whole roasted pig display. She was nice enough to break a large chunk of the crispy skin for us. Yum! As a bonus, I also managed to get a selfie with her. I can't thank you enough to our CM Diandra, Yelp Miami and BPB for continuing the yearly SOBEWFF contest. It's very generous and a wonderful opportunity especially for folks who haven't been. When I went, I ordered from Poke Kai. I had the Tuna Poke Burger -- crispy rice "buns," raw tuna, eel sauce, scallions, cilantro sauce, spicy mayo, Kai salad, avocado, and sesame seeds. So good! My son ordered two sushi rolls: Mauloa Roll - salmon, cucumber, scallion, crab, fried shallots, and unagi mayo. Moana Tuna Roll - tuna, cream cheese, scallion, crab, tempura flakes, togarashi mayo, and lemon zest. My partner ordered from another vendor called YIP. He had miso soup and Peking duck bao. Of course, I also had to try the drinks from the bar (The Bar at The Yard). I ordered: NOT A PEAR IN THE WORLD ($16) - Patrón Reposado tequila, lime juice, Chile Ancho Reyes, prickly pear syrup, and Firewater Tincture bitters. WATERMELON SUGAR ($14) - Hendrick's gin, lime juice, mint, fresh watermelon juice, and simple syrup. Both drinks were super refreshing -- and one definitely had a spicy kick! This event was held in Doral park which is large to the east corner of the park. The event has multiple vendors mostly all located in the Doral. I'm sure there are some missing because Doral is such a growing city that I know there are vendors that decided not to attend. If you walk around you got to sample food and drinks from local vendors and even some that aren't even that close! I experienced some great esta and some good places I know I have to go and try out. Only bad part was I didn't know there was a "vip" area and in there is bocas grill which I absolutely love. :( Will come back next year if there are discounted tickets again. Will definitely get VIP.

I was genuinely excited to attend the 2026 Mango Fest, but unfortunately the event was one of the…read moremost disorganized experiences I've ever attended. To begin with, the website does not provide enough information about what to expect, where to park, how entry works, or which activities require additional tickets. Had that information been clearly communicated beforehand, it would have prevented a lot of confusion and frustration. The problems started with parking. There appeared to be only one person directing traffic, and he looked completely overwhelmed. After sitting in the parking garage for about 15 minutes, security began telling vehicles to turn around. Fortunately, I didn't leave and eventually found a parking space. Once we reached the elevators, there were what looked to be well over 100 people trying to enter at the same time. There were no cones, barricades, or organized queue lines. People were cutting in front of one another, tensions were rising, and everyone was becoming frustrated. It took us approximately one hour just to get inside. Our tickets cost about $32 per person, nearly $100 for three people. However, even after finally entering the building, we had to stand in yet another long line just to receive wristbands. Eventually the staff appeared to give up on checking tickets altogether and simply handed out wristbands. Unfortunately, the confusion continued once inside. There was no guidance explaining how the event worked or where to go. Based on the advertising, I assumed mango tastings were included with admission. After waiting another 25 to 30 minutes in line, I discovered that the mango tasting required the purchase of a completely separate ticket. This was never made clear when purchasing admission. When I went to purchase the additional tasting ticket, I was told they were no longer selling them for another hour and a half because the lines were too long. During my entire visit, I spent almost all of my time standing in lines instead of enjoying the festival. I was only lucky enough to taste two mangoes. Considering the size of the crowd, there were surprisingly few vendors or activities. The event simply did not seem prepared for the number of attendees. What concerned me most was trying to speak with someone about these issues. I spoke with a volunteer named Ritu and politely asked who was in charge. She told me there was a director walking around somewhere but said she didn't know the director's name. I asked how I could identify or contact them, and every response was, "I don't know." She couldn't provide a name, description, or any way to reach the person responsible. That left me wondering how attendees are supposed to report concerns or resolve issues if volunteers don't know who is managing the event. I truly wanted this event to be successful because it has great potential. However, much better planning is needed. Clear communication before the event, organized parking, structured entry lines, better crowd management, more signage, clearer explanations about what admission includes, and staff who know who to contact when problems arise would dramatically improve the experience. I hope the organizers take this feedback seriously because Mango Fest could become an incredible annual event with better organization.

The mango is a gift, with its natural sweetness and the joy we experience when eating it. Why did I give the festival a 3/5 if I love this fruit so much and return to it every year? Mostly because me and my group expected to actually TASTE real live varieties of mango. Mangos were indeed sold but most of the ripe ones were gone as early as noon the first day and none were offered freshly sliced for tasting. I mean, you go to a wine festival and you taste wines, you go to a craft beer festival and you taste craft beers, but at this mango festival I think the entire time we got to eat one piece of fresh mango . Makes no sense. We bought tix to the Mango Spectrum expecting a curated mango tasting; instead, it was a few samples of tequila, rum, one piece of mango, and chocolate. It was good, don't get me wrong, but I thought it could have been described better in the festival email so that our expectations would have matched. I also would have appreciated a listing of the different lectures ahead of the festival so they we could plan the day better. Still, just being at Fairchild Tropical Gardens is alone a justification to attend this yearly festival. The grounds are a lush tropical paradise and you can wander beyond the festival to explore the botanical areas. This year the parking was much better, I think because we got there a bit earlier in the day.
