I thought credits unions were supposed to be for the people? Not this one!!!!! They have a 50$…read moreminimum and I couldn't close the account without my mother present because she and I opened it together. The employee told me to leave the $50 in the account to keep it open. Fast forward two years and LVCU charged my savings account $18 for no activity. I'm closing my account as soon as possible on top of trying to get my $18 back. The main bank we have checking with allowed us to start using any deposit right away and some have been in the thousands. Once the time is up, we are closing the savings and not return.
