They always have workers at their stations, which I can't always say about other locations. All of the workers are efficient, and kind. They'll do their job as fast as possible, and still be able to hold a pleasant conversation with you. It's an extremely nice location, too. Outside and inside. It's got a great parking lot, and landscaping. Plus, we can't forget how easy it is to get in and out. That can NOT be said about the other locations. They have one ATM, that's easy to access. All the other locations are too busy, or too hard to use. I opened my first and only bank account at this location. I try to exclusively come here, but I live across the street from the Triangle Mall location. I can't say enough positive things about this location. Not only do I like Fibre, but I LOVE this location.

I closed my accounts because they closed my line of credit even though when I paid it down to a…read morezero balance, they called asking if I wanted to close it or leave it open for future use and I said to "please leave it open". Once I realized they closed it, I called to have them reinstate the loan. They said no and that if I wanted another line of credit, I'd have to apply for a new loan and pay the loan fees again. This can't have anything to do with my credit score because it's 823. I also had maintained a balance in my savings for 4 years that exceeded the line of credit amount.

I have banked with Mint valley credit union for many years. I am on disability and I deposited a…read morecheck from a business for 1800. Since I am on disability I am only allowed 2000 in any bank account and when I have over that amount I am punished by SSA taking away my health care insurance. The check was from a legal judgement and the business is legitimate. The other person who was with me at that law suit received his check and deposited his check the same day ( he is on SSD also). He paid his bills, but sense I bank at Mint Valley they put a hold on my check. I am loosing my health care because I was not allowed to pay my debts created by the business that I took to court and my health care was taken away. I have never in all the years that I have banked there have I ever bounced a check, or overdrawn my account. But they refused to release the funds. Now My credit score will also go down, and I am being charged another 30 fee from PayPal because the payment that I posted Mint Valley refused to honor, I did this because I had to, keep my health benefits. The other persons check cleared already but my check from the same company still has not been released. They have done more harm than good. I no longer have health care. My only comment would be that the access to ATMs where you can deposit checks and cash is a bit to be desired but I can deal with that and still make after hour deposits at the location. I have banked here roughly 30 years. In the last 10 years overdraft charges have increased from…read morefive to thirty dollars. In the last 2 years they have begun randomly not processing direct deposits for up to 72 hours and will also randomly process debit charges a week after you have ran said charge while their banking app doesn't reflect that it is still pending so it comes completely out of the blue. This tandem creates a situation in which these ludicrous overdraft charges become more common and they won't forgive them. Just today I had one because of this again and they told me they told me in September that they would no longer be forgiving overdraft charges. This is a bold faced lie as I have had no correspondence with them since July. This Credit Union is no longer the caring local bank I joined when I was a child and is now a deceitful money grubbing bank. Do not bank here.
