Today i had some questions about mortgages and Steve Fennewald at one of the minot branches was unbelievably helpful even though i'm not doing anything with/through them right now. Customer service means a lot to me an this is exactly why i switched banks. Everyone from opening my acct, to everyday questions with Awesome Ann at the reception desk, or anything. Thank you all for the awesome help you guys have given me!

If we'd checked the truck, we could have had that even amount. The counter is to the right of the tellers. You dump the loose change in, hit the button and it does the hard part for you. After the count, any coins that didn't make the cut are spit out for collection. You get a print out with the total to present to the teller. Easy easy! When depositing to your account, there are no fees... even better. As usual, the tellers were friendly and efficient. Now, what to do with our newly discovered cash??

I've never struggled so much to open an account and have so many things go wrong! I filed a request…read morefor a new account online and got a rapid response the following morning. From that point on, it just kept getting worse. I couldn't complete the signing of forms online because it was requesting a debit card, which I don't have. I went in to get that straightened out and first was told to sit and wait for someone. The someone that I had requested was sitting right across from me, but no one told her I was waiting or she just chose to ignore me. I got up myself and walked over to her desk, only to be told that she couldn't do anything right now and I should come back later in the afternoon. I was able to make a deposit so I wouldn't have to come back, but I was never given an account number. I was told that they couldn't give it to me until the papers were finished. Interesting, my deposit receipt had the last four of that account number on it. I felt like I was being pushed to the side repeatedly when it should have just taken minutes to get all of this done. Three phone calls later, I finally got that account number. If I wasn't hopeful that things would go smoothly now that I'm with my account, I would have rated this two stars or less. The most important part of banking is getting new accounts! It should not have been this hard.

This Credit Union doesn't deserve any stars. This place is shady and has poor business practices…read more When I opened an account I had access to my balance online and over the phone but after a couple of months they took those options away. It was then that my account suddenly and unexplainably started going into over draft. When I would go in to get a list of the last transactions I was told it was against their policy. At no time did I ever receive a paper copy of my monthly statements; I was told they didn't do statements. After deciding to close the account I deposited 100.00 into the account, switched over all automatic debits to another bank and threw my debit card away. Within 1 week I was down to 4.00. I walked in today to close the account and stated that I wanted to know every transaction within the last week. The teller told me that since I was closing the account that she wasn't obligated to give me one. She then charged me 25.00 to close the account. DO NOT use this Credit Union unless you want zero control over your money.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I am filing this complaint on behalf of my mother-a 75 year old…read morewidow of two years. My mother was not involved in my parents finances while my dad was alive, and since his passing,it has been an area of stress,if not abject fear.It is also important to note that this incident happened at the beginning of the virus lockdown in ND,and so,my mother was also very stressed and worried about that.On the morning of March 15, (when she normally would have been at church, but for the lockdown) my mother was using the internet and received a pop up message that said "Fraudulent activity has been detected on your credit card account. Please call this number immediately." She did so, and was told by this person that someone was using her card and would use it up to its limit if she did not follow their instructions immediately. This person told her to drive to Best Buy, and buy the max allowed amount of gift cards allowed in a day, and to call them back as soon as she had done so. She did as instructed, and Best Buy allowed her to buy $2000 worth of gift cards - a transaction Wells Fargo allowed to go through. She called the number back, the person told her to scratch off the backs and give them the numbers, and then proceed to go to Target to do the same thing. My mother did so. But this time, the customer service person, who was rightly suspicious of a 75 year old distraught woman asking for thousands of dollars of gift cards, asked her what was going on.When my mom explained, the person explained to her that it was a scam, and took her to their fraud prevention person, who was kind enough to call Best Buy and tell them what had happened. This person also told my mother to call the police, after she went back to Best Buy,and also to report the fraud to Wells Fargo. My mother did both of these things. She has now received correspondence from Wells Fargo saying that this activity was "not fraud" and that they would not reimburse her for the funds not refunded by BestBuy. This gift card scam is a well known (unfortunately, not by my mother, at least before this) and recognized fraud. https://corporate.bestbuy.com/best-buy-warns-gift-card-scam/; The FTC has many articles on their website addressing it, and similar schemes involving gift cards. https://search.usa.gov/search?query=gift+card+scams&submit.x=0&submit.y=0&affiliate=ftc_prod. Wells Fargo's determination that this was not "fraudulent activity" is factually and legally baseless, and revictimizes my mother, who has been a Wells Fargo customer for 50+ years. And literally has filed this ONE SINGLE FRAUD complaint, supported by the fraud prevention department of Target, and a police report during that time. One time she goes to them for support, and they not only turn her down, but make her feel like it was her fault. Shame on you Wells Fargo, shame on you.
