$82 dollars for a grooming for my 10 pound dog and they told me it would go up in price if he moved too much. He is a dog! What do you expect. They left him completely bald in the face when he didn't have any knots on the face. I've had a Maltese for the same size for 13 years and I've never paid this much for grooming like ever! I wouldn't of mine so much the price if they would of done a better job but his body had no knots only his neck and they still decided to shave him bare all over. Today I brought my 3 dog's to U-Wash Doggie on Soledad Rd. I walked in & thought it was such a neat option to wash your doggies yourself or have them do it for you. They did such a wonderful job with all 3 of my dogs & I couldn't have been more happier. They were caring, attentive and my dogs looked 1000 times better. Nails trimmed, washed thoroughly and fur trimmed, boy did they smell so good & look so clean and my babies were happy & well taken care of. I met the owners Andres and Tara & they are just the nicest folks ever and such professionals who really care. I highly recommend this place to bring your fur-babies. Came by to wash my dog here and had a pretty positive experience. I was given a small basket with dog shampoo, towel, brushes and I had access to a dryer too. The water hose had multiple settings and the water was Luke warm. I was left alone which I highly appreciate and enjoyed my time washing my dog. Definitely will be coming back here. read more

Sadly I have to give this place 1 star. I arrived home after picking my dogs up and noticed blood all over my house. We came to conclusion it was my dogs foot! U-wash Doggie cut my dogs nails so short that he was gushing blood all over. To make matters worse, it wasn't just one nail. It was four on the same foot! The poor guy is in so much pain and depressed now. Our throw rug at home is now ruined and my clothes are ruined. Now I understand accidents happen but they didn't even tell me about this and four nails being cut short to where the dog is gushing blood? This is very very shady. What a great experience! My wheaten terrier needed a bath and I showed up and found this beautiful shop. They have 5 or 6 self wash stations and the nice man checked me in and I paid my $18 and he showed me how to use to the bath and the blow dryer. I brought my own doggie shampoo, but I didn't need to. They provided a basket with a towel and supplies and I gave my Argus a quick bath. He's a happy, clean dog now and I highly recommend this place! read more

The high reviews are accurate for U-Wash Doggy. Not only have they been consistent with taking care of my dogs for years, they also listen to your requests on specifics if need be. What I love is that you can almost make an appointment the day you call and they seem to be flexible when they can. Everyone there has been very nice and caring and they have great groomers, trust me, I have show dogs. I have been coming here for years and never had issues until recently. One bath prior to this, the shampoo on my dog's rump wasn't rinsed thoroughly he ended up getting an ugly hotspot from it. MY LAST VISIT went like this... brought my pup in for his usual oatmeal bath. When he was ready Andrea brought my leash slashed in two pieces insisting my dog chewed it !! My dog "chewed" a perfectly crisp clean line you guys. When I asked for video proof he couldn't provide it. When asked to replace my leash he refused. No honesty or integrity here anymore makes me sad Even worse after all these years of me coming here being a loyal customer they cant even spell my name correctly. I brought in the newest member of our family - a 3 1/2 yo Husky/Samoyed rescue. He was stinky and matted across his belly and down his back legs. I said "do NOT shave him". I was told they would bathe him and give him a surface brush. When I picked him up, he was a gorgeous, sweet smelling cloud of a dog. I cannot say enough about my experience. The whole experience was awful, and as time goes by I get more upset thinking about the experience and wish I could leave ZERO stars. My poor dog has a big open wound on his skin from where they CUT him, and 2 of his nails are trimmed too short where he was clearly bleeding. The appointment also should not have taken so many hours! The owner told me they weren't too busy so it shouldn't take long. When I returned after a little over an hour, I was told it would be 15 minutes more - and he said it in a rude tone! I waited in my car and still hadn't received a call or text after another 45 MINUTES, so I went in again and in an even more rude tone told me they would reach out to me when my dog is ready to be picked up. So, why lie and say 15 minutes and have me waiting around just to send me away again?? I finally got a call another 40 minutes later. What I think happened and is no one started grooming my dog until I came in and asked how much longer it would be. So in that time I was waiting "15 minutes" they were rushing, and ended up hurting my poor baby. I'm also upset because he was still shedding just as much when I picked him up so they didn't take their time really brushing his coat. I'm furious and will NEVER come back here. It's over priced, they are not gentle with your animal, they take way too long and they give you attitude instead of respecting your time and respecting you as a customer. How do you take over 3 hours and do such a horrible job? What's the point of setting up and appointment just so you can keep my dog locked up in the back for hours until your ready? Clearly the whole staff is miserable, and I don't blame them because the owner was a big JERK himself. WORST SERVICE EVER. RUDE OWNER! It almost seems like this place doesn't really care about or like people's dogs, I normally take him to petsmart and its much cheaper, faster, better service, and my pup is actually cleaned/groomed, smells good, isn't shedding and even has a cute little bandana on. I stumbled upon U-Wash doggy about a month and a half ago. One of my dogs had a nail that needed to be cut. I called and they said bring her in whenever. Took her in and Andreas was so amazing. He said just hold her and clip, it was gone. I started asking about washing and he told me nail clipping was included and they had some time and could wash her right now. My dog was done in less than an hour and looked and smelled absolutely good. Fast forward to today, my other dog needed a bath and cut so bad. They were able to get her in this afternoon. He asked me what kind of cut I would like on her. I added an oatmeal bath and teeth brushing for her ask well. Came back a few hours later to my adorable little pup. Our pup seems to get dirtier faster than most dogs and we were getting exhausted from washing her at home and cleaning up the aftermath of a bath-hating dog. The tubs here are great as well as the perfect water temperature, pressure and everything that comes with the self wash option! You get a brush that helps their glands during the wash and a separate one for after drying. The shampoo smells amazing and I appreciate the towel they give you to dry your dog before using the blow dryers too! The blow dryers work SO well that the entire wash takes us about 15-20 minutes!
