A repair is only as good as the company performing it, and their warranty only as good as their willingness to honor it. I chose uBreakiFix because they advertise a "1-Year Limited Warranty that is valid at all locations." Unfortunately, when a display defect developed and progressively worsened after my repair, the warranty claim was immediately denied without anyone physically inspecting the device. I was also told that this store was "privately owned and operated," and therefore can make decisions inconsistent with the advertised warranty that is advertised as being valid at all uBreakiFix locations: https://www.ubreakifix.com/faq. My frustration is not simply that the claim was denied; it's that the decision was made without inspecting the device and without any meaningful effort to determine the actual cause of the issue. I thought I could trust them as a national chain. Instead, they performed shoddy work and refused to stand by their advertised warranty. You're better off going with any local chain that actually cares about quality of work and customer service. read more

We were driving to Northern California in a brand new Suburban. we could not connect our iPhones to the audio system. Very frustrating experience !We stopped in Santa Maria to pick up a bundt cake and parked in front this Asurion office. On a whim we walked into pp-to to see if they could fix it. A tech came out and leaned into solving our problem. It turns out Chevy has a cumbersome app to connect the phone that took us to a paywall for a subscription for One Star, which did not want. so the tech hooked up our two phones using Apple Air Play. The service tech who was sent to my house was not qualified to work on iPhones, he did not ask enough questions about my phone, he asked me after he BROKE open my iPhone 14 Pro Max. This was on Tuesday that he ruined my phone, said I could call the 800 # and get them to send me another Tech to verify if my phone is broken. It is now Friday and the tech puts a request in to. Get me a new phone. He was just suppose to replace the screen, caused a green line down the right side of the screen. On top of all of that, my phone in disrepair I must spend another $99 on top of the monthly service fee. DO NOT go to this business, they have more excuses, they are not truthful and I consider this business disreputable. Way too expensive for the ability and knowledge they put forth. I'm going with a 4 rating this time. Not because of their customer service or anything like that. They are professional and very easy to work with and I will still go to them for any of my repairs. It is because the tv monitor inside the shop says free diagnostic and the website says the same. I took my computer in for wi-fi issues, and they said they couldn't find anything significant. Contacted this "company" for a problem with my Android Phone. I was given an appointment time. I explained it was a very long drive to them and was informed I could get the service in 3 hrs or so and they could do a quick diagnostic to determine the problem. When I called to confirm the appt, they didn't answer twice. I decided to let it play the phone music while I got gas and had the car washed and still no answer. I arrived and was greeted by the most uninterested "tech" of all time He could not find my appt and gave me the obvious impression he would rather be anywhere but there. It was a huge disappointment since they are allegedly an "Authorized Samsung" facility. I asked to speak to the owner and was told "He isn't even in this state!" Asking to speak to the mgr, he said "He is out sick". It became obvious there was NO WAY I would allow that individual to clean my phone screen much less work on the phone. How this particular franchise stays in business is a mystery. I recommend you find anyone else if you are having issues with your electronics. read more
