I didn't have my instructor's email, and communication was very poor through Canvas, the online portal. Many email/messages unanswered especially from beginning of class. We were warned they would be busy. It was apparent. Office hours - It was on the original syllabus, but then it was taken off. Original syllabus stated by appointment only. But it was very difficult to make one. They would not give me a concrete date or time. I had to give my instructor my phone number, they said they would call, but never did. Instructor then gave me their phone number. I had to call them, and was rushed off after a 15 minute call. The instructor then refused to schedule more office hours. I found it unprofessional, and very off putting. It was apparent then that the instructor was not really there to mentor any students. I have never had this experience at UCLA where I had to give my phone number to a UCLA professor so found the whole situation weird. The class went pretty down hill after the cut-off date where you can get a full refund. I completed two degrees at UCLA and this isn't the same quality. I am glad I got a discount or else I would have been really disappointed. UCLA Extension is a different brand selling a very different product sub-par to UCLA degree programs. After this weird exchange, I decided to stop attending class. Ultimately I reached out to the administration who told the instructor they need to provide office hours, and instructor then obliged to give me some. At this point I was over it and stopped attending the 3 hour long weekly class. Classes are 10 weeks long. Zoom creative writing class sessions of 3 hours is rather painful. I would have preferred in person 100%. Class size of 15 is way too large, but we had two that dropped out and around 3 folks every class that didn't show up, so it was about 10 students each class - which still is large. Research the class and instructor very well before you commit your money and time. Admin emails seems to be run by overseas folks, and I'm sure AI in the future. They get back to your qs in a few days to weeks. Drop before Week 2 for a full refund minus fees

Their school is patten so their training is so legit. I've taken all of their classes (options, futures, basic stocks and foreign exchanges) and I can each class is carter towards finding formula. They teach you how to short and go long and how to find where the future target are. And what is so nice is that if you don't understand it the first time, they let you take unrepeated times. Was sent to the back of the line to wait again. Second intern seemed uncomfortable and awkward in our sessions, and did not take responsibility for and took weeks to set me up on their portal - meanwhile our GoogleMeets were not HIIPA complaint and I could not pay for weeks of sessions on a secure payment site. This intern was a "seasoned" therapist (as per the director) but seemed to not have a sense of sophistication with regard to Jungian concepts and I had to explain things to her, so I was paying to teach her. She also yawned during our sessions without covering her mouth, and once cut off our session without care during a very vulnerable moment for me, seemingly having lost track of time, needing to rush off to her next client. The director, Lynn Easley, took no responsibility or accountability for the way i had been treated over the five months or the way this had managed, and proceeded to suggest that the problems were mine, in a gaslighting kind of way, with zero consciousness of her lack of reflection or care. Shockingly unprofessional, lacking in empathy, lacking in customer service, lacking in accountability, lacking in promptness. Indeed, the problem is mine and it is with this organization. I had wonderful and generous responses from the Jungian center in San Francisco and through referrals I was matched with a gifted therapist within three business days of reaching out to them. AVOID THIS CENTER. Terrible experience.

Obviously targeted at Jungian analysts (which I am not), the speakers are learned, accomplished and doubtless engrossed with the subject matter. Also the $40 admission is a bit steep for lay people that are not writing off the fee on their taxes as research/education. I've left the lectures feeling that I would have rather spent the money in the bookstore instead. There isn't anything elitist about this place, just maybe needs a B-12 injection?
