I scheduled a tour in advance online, and received a very thorough explanation of the Yardstick difference. There are three different play areas for small, medium, and large dogs. During a regular daycare visit, your dog gets a short break in their own kennel area around midday, before jumping back in for afternoon play. An all-day daycare visit will run you $45, and they do offer a trial day for new guests for $25. The entire facility is cute and clean - but I have to say it's the customer service that stands out most. The Yardstick team sends me adorable (and detailed) photo updates throughout the day, reinforcing that I've left my fur baby in excellent hands. Every time I drop my dog off, they greet her by name and genuinely seem excited to see her. Big thanks to the entire Yardstick team for taking such good care of our pup! We'll continue to bring her by as often as possible for some of the best doggie daycare in town!

He is now 14yrs old and they take him to grandma's house for boarding as she will take small senior dogs. He seems to do great each time and keeps a peace of mind for us when traveling. The great thing is on the boarding they allow your dog to play during the day in the play group with other dogs. They post pictures daily, which is great to see. No extra fees for the playtime. With as many pet owners in the area we have been fortunate to get our dog into the boarding as needed. I would suggest booking in advance to secure your spot especially during school holiday time.

We booked our pup for an appointment. PPPS uses text to communicate with you and the communication is excellent. PPPS needed vaccine records and many additional details to make sure it was safe for all the other pups at their location. We dropped off Zoey and spoke with the groomer (Bree). Bree was very aware of how to properly groom an Aussie. We had a brief conversation about what we wanted and believed Zoey was in capable hands. When Zoey was done, we got a text to pick her up. I was greeted upon arrival and Zoey was led out to me right away. Zoey looked fantastic!!! Bree groomed her exactly the way we had discussed. Zoey looked even better than I had hoped. I gave Bree a $20.00 tip. When I brought Zoey home and my wife saw her, my wife loved the grooming. My wife's only complaint was that I should have given Bree a bigger tip. I will fix that the next time we bring Zoey in for a groom.

I saw dogs in dirty kennels, water bowls empty for hours, and one dog left barking nonstop in a crate for over an hour with no one checking in. It felt more like a storage unit for pets than a care facility. The place also smells awful the moment you walk in- like built-up dog urine and chemicals trying to cover it up. The floors were sticky, the walls looked stained, and the whole place had this grimy, unkept feeling that made me want to turn right back around. Oh, and good luck if you ever try to ask a question or request anything- they act like you're annoying them. Super rude and dismissive attitude from the front desk to the back. They talk big about loving pets, but the reality is they don't even pretend to care. Don't let the cutesy name or branding fool you. There are way better, safer, and cleaner places in Nashville. I'd never leave my dog here again. NEVER.

When I picked him up hours later, the groomer casually mentioned he had swallowed "a very small piece" of a toy. No one had called to tell me. They claimed it was no big deal and described it as only a few inches. Fast forward two days--my dog was violently ill. I rushed him to the emergency vet (Blue Pearl), where they discovered a full stuffed giraffe toy, larger than a water bottle, lodged in his stomach. Emergency surgery was required. He's now recovering with pain meds, a cone, and crate rest. The vet bill? Over $7,000. The owner admitted fault and promised to "make things right." First, she claimed she didn't have insurance. Then, when I involved an attorney, she suddenly said her provider would reach out. That was over two weeks ago. Still no word. Just delays, excuses, and a complete lack of accountability. This level of negligence is unacceptable. If you care about your pet's safety and your peace of mind, I urge you to reconsider before bringing them here.

We had a great tour and were very upfront that he is unaltered because of this and our vets concerns that it would make his anxiety worse. So we have been going regularly to get his medication balanced to get him is a better place to be neutered. During the tour we were told, that was ok and they would simply restrict his group play to other little boys. While I understand why they would wish for dogs to be fixed, I hardly see the concern when the dogs are spending the night isolated alone in a suite. So long story short, call and get verified information from a manager before you go tour, and waste time doing the registration process.

Hound Haven has always been very helpful and even came to the rescue when Sammy had to be removed last minute from a negative ROVER experience. (Thought a home would be better for our 2 week absence.
