When I was younger, my jobs were extremely stressful and physical, causing plenty of injuries. I had major spine surgery last year. Since then, I've done six months of physical therapy without much improvement. A few weeks ago, I gave up on the PT when my wife referred me to Kathye Hopwood. She is very impressive! I need deep-tissue work. Kathye is not a big person, but have no fear, if you need deep tissue work, she will give you exactly that! I know Kathye does many other types of massage, but I haven't tried them. If I wanted to, I know where I'd go first! ;-) Her studio is perfect. She has decorated it beautifully with things that obviously mean something to her. It's quiet and she makes sure that you're comfortable before she starts. Today was my third or fourth visit and she even remembered that I needed extra blankets for cold, (and painfully crampy), feet! Yes, it's a small thing, but isn't that the point?? As I said above, I've had a LOT of massage! The first time I went to Kathye, I told her that it had been the absolute best massage I had ever experienced. Today?? DITTO!!
