EDIT ROUND THREEE! Thanks to the new manager (Sean) for looking out and helping me with my issue. I am happy to leave the gym on good terms, as I look forward to returning one day in the future. My original one-star review is now changed to a four-star review. However, I would still advise getting physical evidence of any cancellation form or contract just in general (a general lesson I learned which is good for everyone to keep in mind when joining a new gym, not just this one). The gym is a beautiful establishment, great for families, and it has all brand new equipment.

Alright this is an edit from my review below. My opinion remains the same but because Nick (the assistant manager) reached out to me I'd like to give him credit for taking care of my problem. Nick has been helpful and supportive throughout my issues and I appreciate it. However, my opinion of the store manager, Brittany remains the same lol. You can't be a manager and ugly towards your customers. So thanks Nick for being a good A.M. And for changing my final thoughts about the UFC gym. I would give a 3 star rating but after all these issues I was still contacted by their billing company a week ago and they claimed that I owed $109 for my last months payment(which was paid at the time of signing up) lol thankfully Nick took care of the issue but still this company as a whole needs to be more organized..like how do you mess up someone's account 4 times?! lol
Oh and the gym itself is really awesome, brand new facility & great coaches. My review is based on the issues I've encountered trying to cancel my membership and based on their schedule not being suiting.
There are several reasons why I'm giving the UFC gym a 1-star rating (which this is my first time to give anyone a 1-star rating just btw). First and foremost, management is to blame. I had a membership for one month and canceled it due to financial problems. The following month I was billed, the old mangers apologized for their mistake with my paperwork and refunded me the money. I went into the gym a second time to cancel my membership a second time. However, months later I was billed. I spoke to the new manager, Brittany, and I was genuinely surprised by her reaction and attitude towards me. She was literally the rudest manager I have ever spoke with! I told her I canceled my membership TWICE and that it was a mistake for them to bill me but she claimed that the notes in her computer state I put my account on hold. I cancelled my account and was told that if I wanted to resume my membership in the future that I can at any time. No one ever told me, nor did the paper state anywhere, that I would be charged after three months. I am an honest person and if I was aware of this then I wouldn't have been so upset with this company. However, I was never aware of this "3 month hold," and I am certain that I cancelled my membership. If they ran their business properly and kept the two cancellation forms I filled out then this wouldn't be an issue, but they claim they don't have it. What is the sense in making someone go to the gym and fill out a piece of paper that you plan on throwing away anyways?! Honestly it still wouldn't have been that big of a deal if the manager wasn't so ugly towards me over the phone. I've never encountered a manager so unprofessional and rude.
If it wasn't for the way the manager treated me and handled my situation then I would give the gym 3 stars owing to the fact that their schedule isn't suiting for people who like to work out on the weekends. They close at 3pm on Sundays and that's just ridiculous in my opinion.
IF YOU CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP MAKE SURE TO TAKE A PICTURE OF THE FORM AND KEEP A RECORD OF IT ON FILE!!! read more
