I've been going to Life fit for over a year now. I have seen the gym grow through the people that attend the classes. Fabian writes great circuit workouts, 1 hour of your day has never gone by faster. Adrian, Angel , Lucy, Maria and Valeria are all super helpful and can tend to any needs you might come across. Every hour there is a new class, restrooms and lockers, I leave my stuff out and I have never had a problem with my stuff being taken. It's truly a judge free community. Want to try a heavy rep? Do it, someone's got your back. Want to eat better? Say something, someone will help you out. Everyone here wants you to be your best self. They will push you, but can see when you reach your limit. Everyday I am there I am disiplined to push myself, along with Fabian, Adrian and Lucy to push me even more. I love it. You'll love it. First class is free!

I am way overdue for reviewing Hotworx-Pearland…read more This is my regular/daily workout since Cyclebar Pearland closed. Infrared Heat Benefits At first I was resistant to the hot sauna aspect of the workout since you already get hot during a workout and I'm already a sweaty lady but now I absolutely love the infrared heat! It really does flush out toxins, is great for your skin, reduces/eliminates soreness that can come with a workout, also relieves pain and stress. I always come out of my workouts feeling great! It's perfect after a long days work, to kick off your day or for a midday pick me up. Workout Sessions I love the variety of workouts which makes for great cross training. The workouts are a variety of HIIT/cardio and isometric/floor exercises. Since they're hot (it's recommended the workouts be in the 120 degree range for optimal effectiveness), the HIIT workout sessions (cycle, blast/elliptical-ish bike, rowing) are only 15 minutes long and they are a little more challenging than a longer workout since they're shorter. The iso's (yoga, stretch, Pilates, core, bands, Barre, buns) are 45 min . I typically do a 45min - 1.5 hr workout combo of the different sessions or a quick 30 min if I'm low on time or energy. The saunas There are about 7 different hot sauna rooms that play on demand virtually instructed videos that run every 15 minutes (HIIT workouts) and every 45 minutes (Isometric workouts). Supplies You're given a mat and towel with your membership, that are specifically designed for the hot sauna and it is the only mat that will work with the saunas' heat. Cost Hotworx is very reasonably priced at $59/mo for one studio location or $79/mo to workout at all Hotworx location, which is nice bc they have locations EVERYWHERE so it is a great way to keep up with your workout if you go out of town. You also get a month free, if you get to 25,000 calories burned within a 3 month period which is tracked through their app.Its very easy to rack up 25,000 if you're going regularly. Booking thru the app You reserve your workouts through the app, which is nice bc you can see if anyone else has also booked a sauna during a particular time. Although, you're welcome to use a sauna without booking if a spot is available. Each sauna holds 3 people. Staff The staff is great and super friendly. I love that they always run to open the front door for everyone. It's especially helpful when I'm struggling, trying to hold my mat, water, towel etc. Side note, you have to use the Hotworx app to buzz yourself in at the entrance. So if you don't have a membership, you can't get into Hotworx outside of regular business hours. Cancelling The only negative about Hotworx is it's one of those places where you have to provide a 30-day written notice to cancel. Luckily for me I don't have any plans to cancel anytime soon.

My workout routine has been in a rut for a long time, so I thought trying something new would…read moreeither be the motivation I needed or make me run back to what I was doing! I saw an ad online for a free workout. I shared my info and received a text and email to complete registration for the free workout. Nothing major- just my name, contact info and the type of workout I wanted to do for my session. I decided to do a full body workout which was called the Hot Iso. What's unique about these workouts is that they all occur in an infrared sauna. Each pod has space for three people. As a first timer, however, I was given the space to myself. A few things to keep in mind-no shoes in the saunas, you are to wipe your mat down upon finishing the workout, you can control the temp and volume of the workout which is lead by a virtual trainer and the workouts are only 30 minutes! The sauna and the workouts are suppose to provide optimum benefits with less time working out. That is a win. I also liked that the workout provides 3 ways the modify each exercise led by the instructor. However, I could see during peak times when you may have to share space that maybe there's someone who desires a less than hot sauna or maybe needs the volume louder during the workout. Could be problematic...but as my guide shared, non peak times will give you the most space and choices to workout. You may also decide you want to try out several different workouts during your visit. That's fine. Just as long as you sign up for the class. People can sign up for classes up until the last minute before the class starts, so just be aware. You may be wondering how this place compares to a typical gym. They actually have a free weight area that also have virtual trainers to lead random exercises with you. A stretch area is also included in the small space. Two restroooms are apart of the gym. One with a shower in fact, but you'd have to use the restroom as the dressing room because this space only has cubbies and small lockers for possessions. That maybe a deal breaker for someone who would come workout before work and runs the risk of several people needing to shower after working out. Most likely, most do not and probably live close to this location, thus running home to get a shower and dress for work. What is great is the 24 hour access to the gym Guests of members can only come inside when staff are present. This particular aspect reminds me when I use to be a member of Snap Fitness. My swipe card allowed me access anytime of tthe day but certain violations would cause penalties or cancelation of membership. I'm sure this place is monitored closely but the distance for me was too great for me to become a member. However, for anyone right in the neighborhood looking to try something new, HOTWORXS is worth a try!

Best gym on the East Side!!…read more I started coming to Facet Seven Eado to get in the best Bride-To-Be/ Wedding shape I could, and it happened thanks to Mikel!! I highly recommend booking with him if you're in the market for a personal trainer! Not only will he help you reach your goals, but he's also very informative with why you're doing certain exercises (which is very helpful as someone who has no clue!) I do have to say, having a personal trainer really made my experience at Facet Seven Eado! I love that you can view all the trainer profiles online and book with them, making the whole process more approachable. The gym itself seems to have everything you would need - from machines to free weights to classes. Parking: They have some handicap parking and a few open spaces in front of the gym. That being said, I almost always had to park on the side street. Accessibility: In addition to the handicap parking - They do have a ramp for accessibility to the entrance as well, but otherwise get ready for a pre-workout warm up hiking up the stairs to the front entrance! They also have a large shower stall (at least in the women's locker room) for accessibility needs. Staff: The staff (especially the trainers) are beyond welcoming. For some reason the people at the front desk aren't so much. During my time here, I rarely got welcomed which does make it a bit awkward if you're not so comfortable in the gym. Also, they have a scanner to checkin on your app but that worked less than 50% of the time for me, leading to more awkward moments with the front desk. Space: The space is very open, allowing for a lot of different areas. During my time here, they did move some of the weights around, which made for a bit of a choke point/crowded area for the weight machines near the rowers. Personally this was a turn-off for me. Also, being a warehouse, it gets warm. There is AC but during the summer months it doesn't cool too effectively - which I guess helps you sweat and maybe is a good thing (but for me wasn't the best). Overall, I'd definitely return here if I needed a PT to help reach another goal. I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a new gym in general !

The instructors have AMAZING energy, especially when we first took our class with Sergio. He was motivating, smiled, and just had this high energy that kept me going in my workout. ESPECIALLY, during the first 20 min of the spin portion. I recorded my workouts on my apple watch for each section and booooiiii you basically burn about 400 calories total! Honestly, I want to gatekeep this place but that would be unfair…read more This is my favorite workout place. Between trying gyms, boutique Pilates studios, orange theory; F45 is the absolute king of work outs. I like F45 because they encourage you to lift more, and push yourself (safely). I feel muscles I've never felt before. I also feel stronger which is amazing. Usually I'd only lift 10-15 lbs max. But not here. I'm comfortable squating 44lbs, and 26lb for tricep extensions! Wth. Never thought I would do either. The coaches are so so nice. They will correct your form (I appreciate this a lot). I have only been to this location fyi. Initially, when you walk in, there's a white board that tells you the duration of the workout/rest periods, and how many laps and/or stations there are. There are cubbies for your stuff, and each cubby has a charger for your phone. They also have small towels for the workout class. There are also drinks and food if you're interested. Lastly, they have two bathrooms with showers. When class starts, the coach will do a quick run through of each station. Every class is so different. Not repetitive like OTF. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are cardio days. Tuesdays and Thursday's are (lifting) weight days. You can take a quick breather during class but they will cheer you on to finish the time out. You're there for a workout, after all. Usually if you are lost at the station, you can just copy the person next to you or look confused and the coach will come and show you again. Classes can include boxjumps, ski erg, rowers, weights, benches, resistance bands. Clases are usually 45 mins to an hour. What I like about this is that you're not waiting for the previous class to finish. They are usually gone, everything is wiped down/reset, and easy parking. I really love the community and the other members as well. The camaraderie is unmatched. They are all so nice, friendly, and welcoming. We are all shapes, sizes, and skin colors and working on our goals. I love that there are two water refill stations, two treadmills, a stair master, and a massage chair. Many accoutrements! They have a free 7 day trial period. Terrick is the owner and he's amazing!
