I bought a vehicle, a 2023 Chrysler Pacific, from Uftring Weston Chevrolet Cadillac on June 7, 2025. My salesman was Chris Goeres. I purchased an extended warranty and the GAP insurance. As I got in my vehicle on Sept. 24 and started it, it didn't turn over. The battery came on and most of the lights, air, and music all started. I then tried to turn off the vehicle to see if maybe that would work but before I could even push the button again, some of the lights, the music, and the air all turned on. The vehicles dashboard display said it was an issue with the transmission and that it was in Drive even though I couldn't even turn the shifter and the vehicle has a feature that won't allow it to be turned off while in drive. I called the dealership and talked to a technician who then transferred me to his manager Steve. I told him also what happened and he told me to try to jump the vehicle even though I expressed my concern that it wasn't the battery. I called my husband and he came and tried jumping the van. Not to my surprise the vehicle didn't start. I called the dealership back and talked to Steve who told me to have the vehicle towed to their service department. I called for Road Side Assistance through my car insurance and the vehicle was picked up and delivered. I was never contacted that my vehicle had been delivered to its destination, by the towing company or by Uftring. After about 2 hours after the vehicle had been picked up I called Uftring trying to find out if my vehicle had actually made it to the dealership. I again talked with the receptionist who could not tell me and informed me that the service department had closed. I was able to call my insurance and found out the vehicle had been delivered. The next day I had not heard anything from the dealership until I was able to take my lunch at 12:20 when I called Weston about my vehicle. It was then that Steve informed me my vehicle had since been towed again to the Uftring Chrysler Dodge Jeep without my knowledge or consent. He even apologized for not asking me more about my vehicle, and said that if he had known it was a Chrysler he wouldn't have told me to have it towed to them. I was told to contact them if they hadn't already, so I called Uftring Chrysler. He informed the technician was as able to start the vehicle and drive it into the shop. On Friday Sept. 26th at 7:54am Aaron sent me a message about what they had found out was going on and the approximate cost. On my bill it said it was my Auxillary Battery and my main battery that needed replaced. I had the usual labor costs and taxes as well. However, I was surprised to see a towing charge. I asked about it and was told it was a charge I would have to discuss with Uftring Weston. I also asked about why this was something I had to pay for when I had only bought the vehicle 3 months prior. He informed me that batteries are not apart of warranties usually but to reach out to Weston to see if they could assist in this area. On Friday Sept. 26 at 11:18am I called Uftring Weston and left a voicemail for Steve. I called again at the end of the school day at 3:37pm to talk to Steve since I hadn't heard anything yet. Again I got his voicemail and left another message. At 5:13pm I called Uftring Weston again and still no answer from Steve so I left another message. At 5:42pm I called again and the service department was closed. I asked the receptionist to let Steve know that I would be arriving as soon as possible to speak with him in person. At home I gathered all of my paperwork from the purchase on my vehicle. Going through that paperwork I have found an almost 3,000 mile difference on the vehicle on the date of purchase. The extended warranty that I purchased has towing covered up to $175 and/or 50 miles. I remember my salesman telling me that the vehicles that are on the corner of War Memorial and University are vehicles that they CAN'T sell to the public. read more

Took my car in for a repair under warranty, they took it apart so it was no longer driveable and then didn't have a loaner (despite a lot full of used cars) so I was scrambling for transportation for my family that evening and to get to work the next day. Now it's been 2 months as the exact same issue is back so their "repair" was as shoddy as their customer service. I've already called a competitor for this repair as I'd like it done right this time read more

Please don't make the same mistake we did Bought a Kia Sorento ($8,000) from them and 3 days after the purchase my mechanic diagnosed that the engine was going out of it. I took it back and they traded me into a Nissan Murano ($10,000). After we drove it off the lot we found that the radio only played one station which was what the vehicle was on when we left, the backseat didn't lay down, and the rear door automatic button only worked in the front. We were right at the 9 month mark with our baby so it was hard to find time to diagnose everything. Finally did and the mechanic thought that the vehicle was having fuel issues but after 8 months of diagnostics we found that it was the transmission. They offered to give us $5,000 for the vehicle and wouldn't do anything to make it right. They than wanted to put me into another vehicle. This is the last place I would trust. read more

I bought a 2016 Toyota Corolla with 19,000 miles on it from the Weston used car lot. The price was on par with KBB and I got the maximum KBB trade in for my 2010 Corolla. The process was smooth and Kinsman was great. I absolutely love my Corolla. I would definitely buy from them again if they had the right vehicle. read more

First I want to start by saying that Nick at the Washington store was very nice and helpful. But unfortunately that is all I can say about the Uftring stores. The previous weekend I put a deposit on a car that I was interested in test driving the following weekend. I get to the Peoria store to test drive and it doesn't work out. I go back inside to tell them that I decided against the car and ask about my deposit check. The manager Austin Street is extremely rude and pretty much told me I was out of luck with my deposit. I told him it had been discussed with Nick and it was contingent upon me actually test driving the car. He didn't believe it looked for like 30 seconds and said it had already gone to the finance office. I was absolutely furious because I took that to mean that they had already cashed my check before I had even done the test drive. It took a month to get the check back. Brought my new Cadillac into Uftring Weston service department. There was no why to turn off radio. After about an hour and a half, no one could figure how to turn off the radio. Told me to put it in mute. That means the radio is still using the battery. Left there with the radio still going and traded it in on a new Acura. Several people we hang out with are now looking at the Acura instead of a Cadillac. No more dealing with Uftring Weston, for me. read more

Had a terrible experience getting my oil changed and tires rotated. They told me they would rotate my tires and that didn't happen. I also got in my car to find my oil % meter not reset and oil residue throughout my car. I won't be coming back to Uftring Weston anytime soon. read more

Took my 81 yr. old mom to dealership to sign off on warranty as my father recently passed and we were able to sell dad's car. We were told that the one person who was able to do that "was busy and if we'd like to wait for an hour, he would be able to help us". The other 5 people sitting around the dealership obviously weren't capable of doing this. We were then told by the greeter there were two other "finance people" who weren't there and he wasn't going to interrupt the only one there. Absolutely horrible service and inconvenience to now have mom go back,climb the flight of stairs to sign one piece of paper. I've made a call to the people who purchased dad's car and they too are now discouraged as new Cadillac owners as to what they can look forward to in the future. Can't even give rating 1 star!! read more

I have utilized Uftring Weston for well over ten years since it was at its old location on University. Service has always been efficient here, and they do not try and nickel and dime you. You get fair estimates and they fix what needs to be fixed. They will inform you of what actually needs to get done and what can wait. Setting up an appointment is hit-and-miss depending on the service advisor. It seems like they are never by their phones and their voicemail system has been problematic in the past. If I happen to be in the area, I will drop by and schedule an appointment in-person. Walk-ins are possible but you will wait a long time if you do get seen. Dropping off your vehicle is always a good idea. Unless you have a small service, such as an oil change, do not try to wait it out. You will be sitting there all day. They will give you a complimentary drink and snack, free WiFi, and there is a courtesy shuttle/pick-up. Service is always top-notch but I have noticed in recent years that slight mistakes have slipped through. Sometimes, the workers will forget to tighten up certain screws or close something off. Nothing that will be dangerous but will be a nuisance requiring you to bring your vehicle back to get it fixed. The service advisors are always apologetic and willing to rectify the issues. Plus, make sure you take full advantage of their complimentary car wash after every service visit. They tend to forget at times. Also, get an oil change card punched for every paid oil change. I have tried many other car shops in the Peoria area and this one has the most efficient service department so far. It is expensive though. read more

I purchased a cadillac from them. Started having problems with the vehicle, a couple months later. Called the salesperson (Tena)and was told someone would get back to me. Left a message for the manager still nothing. Called and spoke to the service dept to ask questions about the car and found out they were aware of all the problems but never took the steps to fix any of the problems or tell me about them before buying the car. I will never buy another vehicle from their establishment. read more

No, Stay away from this body shop! I have a 40th anniversary Grand Prix that I took in for a damaged bumper, driver's side fender, and hood. It took muchhhh longer than estimated, I called in a couple of times and they never gave a straight answer as to what the hold up was. When I picked it up: The driver's side headlight is noticeably higher. The driver's door doesn't open correctly at all. They left scratches on the hood. They broke the air dam off the old hood and put it on the new hood. Shitty job might I add. I pointed out the problems when I picked it up and talked to them several times on the phone. At one point offered to get me a rental car. He said they would call back when they got one in. When that didn't happen I called them back many times over the coarse of a month. They also left scratches below the door. When I showed them, while picking it up, the man told me to call my insurance company. They never took any sort of responsiblity on that end. Within the first year all of the body they repainted was already cracking and chipping. The stock paint is in great condition. This matter is STILL unresolved. I love my car and they messed it up. Been 2 yrs. and they have yet to fix it. Please, if you love your baby don't take it to Jim Mccomb for body work. read more
