The manager there help me with getting the issue from Lake Charles, don't know what there employee don't know what she's doing

I was a victim of age discrimination, I walked in and 3 employees were standing there, just looked at me and turned their heads. Young girl in her 20's walked in and they all couldn't wait to help her!! So ok that's fine. I walked around the store clearly I couldn't find what I was looking for... nobody offered to help me so I asked an employee where she thought the item I wanted would be located?? She states I'm not sure maybe down that isle she was pointing at and she just walked away. I can promise I'll never step foot in that place again!! I'm 56 years old and have a lot of wealthy friends I will be telling to go elsewhere for makeup cause it's clear we are not welcome there. read more

The worst ulta I've ever been too. I was so excited for them to open one up in Houma, but there's so many disappointments. Everything is out of place. Everything on the shelves seemed to have been tested and used. I was looking for five specific things and each one was "out of stock" "what's there is all that we have". Ulta is like generic Sephora. Only less crowded, less employees bugging you and less products to overwhelm your inner Kardashian.

So its been a while since i shopped at ulta in like...years. Visted two times and first was great had a wonderful lady help me with questions, and all. The second time...not so much. Like i swear that group was just kinda idk stuck up? I went to browse a little near the brow bar and watched then after the lady was done her question was kinda rude...and it made me feel uneasy. She told me she was done for day and come back tomorrow if i wanted services of any sort. I shortly explained saying sorry i wasn't and would be busy to come back. She just said oh. I went to go look and she hurrys to help another customer quickly with something when she tells me differ. When i got my pallet i asked the front a question, and to my surprise it wasnt much help on the product of choice. They kept repeatedly saying dont get matt due to my dry skin i said i know. And then proceeded to say tarte has one, but couldnt show me or such? I went and found maybe the one they had said. No one was there to help me find a shade and the testing products was everywhere! No clean space or such. Like a tornado had came and no one came. It was near the benifit spot, but yet the area was out of things. And i didnt know where thinga were..so when the same lady came i asked her for cotton balls or something to clean off the make up. She sounded annoyed and gave me some. I wouldnt mind it really...but if your gonna treat customers like that or not even clean areas that people use most then why have anyone there? When i checked out i had a nice cashier at least......but i wish someone could of helped me foundation, and not make me feel well unwanted. :/ read more

The employees in this store were extremely rude. This past Saturday was my first visit and sadly I will not be returning.

Not a huge fan of Ulta tbh. I prefer Sephora overall. I never really get greeted when I enter the store. I have to hunt someone down to help me, and then they always try to force a certain brand on me when I'm clearly looking for something. The Ulta in Houma also seems to never have things in stock. Either they don't have it in their store or it's coming in a truck on another day. They seem to push certain things like highlighters at certain times, which is cool if I'm looking for that, but not if I am not looking for it. Parts of the store are messy and disorganized. They advertise free samples with purchase that I don't always receive. I've literally seen customers in front of me spend way less than me get bags of samples, but I spend hundreds and get no samples. In fact, sometimes the cashiers rarely speak to me. But sometimes they are nice. The Brow Experts are probably the best workers there, as they know about beauty. I wish they hired people who actually knew something about makeup/beauty. read more

Don't get your brows waxed here at the Benefit Brow Bar if you want something other than a thin little lines of eyebrows that don't quite match. After telling the technician I wasn't happy with the wax, she told me that Benefit says this is the ideal and "my brows are that thin, then I just pencil them in." Then that's not ideal, is it?
