I have to RAVE about Haley. She has been doing my hair for over a year now, as well as my daughters. I recommend her to every subtle person I can. Not only did she save my hair from complete disaster a year ago, she cares about her clients and what she does. She takes the time to listen and pulls off miracles (in the case of my hair). There are times I think about doing something and she double checks to make sure and makes suggestions. I trust her whole heartedly. This is probably the worst experience I have had at an ulta. I walk in and I'm greeted by an employee who is texting on her phone she says hi but never looks up to greet me or even if she can help me find something. So i begin to look for what k need. The whole time I'm there I'm searching for what I need with no assistance at all. The other employees are at the desk just talking an laughing an messing with their phones. Finally I pass the first girl who said hi an asked her where the product is I'm looking for she points in the general direction an says over there by such an such and then heads the counter with the other girls! I go to where she pointed and still could not find what I was looking for. I had several things I needed but couldn't find any on them. With no help from anyone! As I'm leaving all employees are at the front desk an say did you find what you needed!!!!!! I said no but everyone was to busy it seems to help me a said thank you and walked out. I have been to a lot of ulta's as I shop there a lot and have never had an experience like that. They always come up to me and ask me if there's anything that they can help me with, even when I walk in the door, they ask me can we help you find something not here!!! They were more interested in texting on their phones and talking with each other than about helping a customer find something. I can guarantee I will not be shopping at this Ulta again. I will drive to Daytona ultra or somewhere else to get what I need from now on. Such a bad Customer service. read more

When I walked in the store I was greeted like I was an inconvenience. Poor customer service. The employees were too busy talking loudly in a group behind the counter while another employee was dancing behind the register. I was approached once asking if I needed assistance. Fifteen minutes later when I checked out the cackle of employees were still laughing and being loud behind the counter. I also had a Happy Return which the cashier assisted me with. It seemed to take forever. When she was done she said "that's it". I asked if we were thru and she turned around and said yes. Not a thank you, can I help you with anything else, nothing. The whole time I felt like she hated her job. She was also the one who greeted me when I came in. Considering the prices they charge for their products they should be over the top with customer service. I for one will go to Sephora instead to get my products in the future. this review is for Renne a supervisor that works for Utra Beauty in Palm Coast, FL. She deserves a nice raise. She is very professional and will do what is right for the customer. I had ordered online to pick up at the store and placed it at 10 am. I got to the store after 2 pm to pick it up. The store had not received my order yet so she called to find out what they could do to help. The representative that she called to talk to gave her the runaround and said she couldn't do anything about it and through it back at Renne. Renne told her that was not acceptable and that I had waited long enough in so many words. Next thing we knew my order finally went through and was able to pick up. The Ulta Beauty Salon in Palm Coast, FL is unreliable and unprofessional. My mother and I have tried booking two Olaplex appointments simultaneously on two different occasions. The first time, we were contacted by the salon as we were driving to our appointments to let us know that one of the stylists we booked was not there that day and that one person would have to take care of us both, but they would not be able to provide us with the blow dry that is included in the price. Today, I received a confirmation text message that one of our appointments for tomorrow was changed to a different time. The salon never contacted us to explain why. I called the salon and spoke to a stylist who informed me that, once again, one of the stylists we booked was not there that day and that one person would have to take care of us both. The stylist on the phone was impudent, never apologized, and did not explain why we were not contacted. The associate simply blamed the salon manager and said, "I just do what my manager tells me to do." Needless to say, we canceled our appointments once again. The manager? MIA. read more

I bought a can of Kendra hairspray at Ulta when I was in Ohio in June. I didn't need to use it until September. it was a faulty can. it wouldn't spray. I tried every trick in the book to get it to work. I didn't have the receipt when returning it. I have been a loyal customer since the day they opened. Because I bought it in another state they said it wasn't in their computer and couldn't exchange it. They have been on tv for putting damaged products on their shelves. Love this store and the employees are always helpful and polite. The one thing I love about Ulta is the ability to return a product if you find it does not work for you. They always return without hesitation. Recently, I had the opportunity to try out the salon. I have to say that it was a blessing for me since I just had a bad color experience with significant damage from another local salon. My stylist was nothing short of a small miracle worker. Most of the associates are helpful and friendly, however a few are to busy doing their own make up to be bothered. Usually stock very well. once in a while they are out of something. I really like the fact that if product doesn't work for you {and ladies we all have that happen at one time or another} you can always return it. This chain know what customer service is. This is my 2nd time at this hair salon with hairdresser Linda. I wanted to have my hair done for fall and had color melt done. Just in 1.5 hours i went from blonde to natural brunette without any damage to my hair. So happy that i found her . She is a real pro. Every hairdresser is very knowledgeable at this salon. Let me say, Haley may look very young, but she has skills! She really listens, and will tell you like it is, meaning she will work with you to get your best look. She is also very sweet, has a great sense of humor, and gives a great shampoo! The only reason this isn't 5 stars is because it's kind of expensive for me anyway. I got my hair permed from here. Spent $190 on the perm plus the products the lady told me to get to help my perm. Got home and waited a couple days to see if maybe I washed my hair it would turn better and it just got straighter.
