I went to the store to find out some information because I'm a student at the college nearby and I'm from out of state. And while I was shopping around and looking at stuff and browsing, what are the girls kept following me around like I was trying to steal something when I was literally just trying to see what their store was about. Lady in the front called me an alien for wearing shorts on a cold day. Even though I was just popping in and out really fast. Then continued to make weird comments about my name. Not sure if she thought she was being funny but it just rubbed me the wrong way. She continued to make snide remarks the whole transaction. There's a difference between making jokes and just being plain annoying. If I'm not laughing it's probably not funny and she should've stopped. I'll stick to ordering online. read more

Just saw Hannah at the benefit brow bar... worst experience ever! I'm in tears! I told her all I wanted was the under cleaned up. She went on a hack job on my brows!! She waxed clear up to my hair line!!! Sooo back! Then I was so red and full of welps she didn't offer any medical cream or makeup! I have been to the same brow bar in southlake for 6 plus years and have never had such a horrible experience! Please be warned!!! read more

Every time I come into this location nobody greets me or wants to help me. I always hear them greet everyone else and tell everyone goodbye on their way out. Today they even avoided me like I was sick or something. When I mentioned it to the cashier that nobody wanted to help me she just seemed annoyed. read more

Tori at the salon is amazing! She is the only one who I will let touch my hair!! She takes her time and makes sure everything is perfect before you walk out. She gets my hair cut exactly how I ask every time! She also matched my color perfectly to my extensions!! I highly recommend her! I have also never had a problem with the brow bar. Setting appointments is easy and they are always there waiting for me when its my appointment time! read more

This is my favorite store! I love the employees, they are always so welcoming and very helpful! There are so many amazing brands carried in this store, and I love to shop here! I get amazing deals, plus rewards points which I can use to get money off future purchases, so it's amazing! read more

This place is great IF you are able to get in touch with anyone to make an appointment. I literally have had to call multiple times throughout the day because either nobody is there or they are ignoring the phone but I doubt it's because they are too busy. I'm not sure what the managers duties entail but making sure the phone is answered is obviously not on the list. Unfortunately, I do not have the luxury of calling repeatedly in hopes of talking to someone to set an appointment so I had to go elsewhere. I am a loyal customer and will be staying with my current stylist at a different salon from now on. I blame the manager for not being more attentive in general. Shame on Ulta for not being concerned with their clients, possible future clients and now the loss of clients. read more

Every time I go in & go to the exact product I want, someone tries to talk me out of it for a different product! No I want this one, I have great results or I love the product for whatever reason I have & I don't care if you like this other product better-who is paying for it me or you?? Seriously if they work off of commission then maybe they should find a new place to work because not everyone wants or enjoys having a sales person work so dang hard on changing a shoppers mind! Stopped by here to buy some makeup. The salon manager was walking the floor. She didn't once acknowledge me by saying hi or anything. Walked past me 5 or six times and was greeting everyone else, but acting like I didn't exist. I spend a lot of money in here and thought it was very rude. Just a friendly "hi" would have sufficed. Told the cashier at the front and was told this hasn't been the only complaint. Get some training on your customer service skills. read more

i really don't know who some of the workers think they are, i walked in asking if i could exchange a foundation and after they looked at me like i was stupid all they did was point to a worker who was ACTUALLY helpful im pretty sure she was the manager. But aside from that i've gone in their 3 times for them to shade match me to a foundation, they don't know what they're doing and don't care they just want you to buy something and then get out, i should've saved the gas and went to the ulta by hulen. After searching for a while on my own in the drawers for the color of foundation I needed I had to go get one of the girls that was merely feet away from me chatting about how hard they were workin. I asked her to help me find the color since there was absolutely no kind of order in them she simply said "I will have to talk to the ones that stocked it, quickly scanned the drawers with no effort at all and said nope sorry I don't have that one. I made an appointment today with the manager of Salon, drove an hour and half just to be placed on back burner for 30+min. Instead of offering an apology, the remark was "sometimes this happens". Overall, customer care isn't priority and appointments aren't honored. Very Disappointed and won't be wasting my time with this location and would advise anoyone reading this, to find a different salon. read more

Kiersten at the Benefit Brow Bar is great! She takes her time to do a precise, thorough job, but if her schedule is full and she squeezes me in, my brows look just as perfect when she does the job quickly as when she takes her time. It costs a little more than some other places, but Kiersten's pleasant attitude and expert shaping are worth it! I love Ulta in general for bringing higher quality cosmetics out of the snooty department stores. Ulta's house-brand products are high quality, too, but very reasonably priced and often on sale for an even better deal. read more

I usually don't give reviews and if i do it's because of the awesome service i have gotten. This is not the case today. I went into Ulta last week and wanted a color but decided to go ahead and get my hair cut. i wanted a bob and balayage. The bob i received is about 2 inches too short and the cut is horrible, and my hair color is nowhere near balayage. it looks like i have disgusting roots with a bad dye job (i don't know if i would call it orange or yellow). after that disaster, i heard the stylist say she was really worried about how the color was going to turn out, i mean have your ever done this before. Not only is my hair cut and color HORRIBLE, which i have to live with it for like 6 months, but then i dished out like $180 for this mess. NEVER again!! read more

The worst! I keep giving them chances because the location is convenient. EVERY time I go in the displays look as though kindergarteners have ransacked and fingerprinted with the products, the people who are supposed to maintain the displays and inventory only offer up sad excuses. I've gone so far as to walk a manager over to show her the mess and it doesn't phase one bit. Inventory is always sparse like they've been looted and perhaps they are being shoplifted because no one seems to care. AND what's this about having to ASK about your points? Yep, if you don't ask they don't tell you you have points to go to the products for discounts. read more

Not happy. I went to Ulta today to pick up some lashes. I am a makeup artist for a high end brand and I work in customer service every single day. First, I wasn't greeted at all. Which already set the tone. Came in with my baby and was in a hurry, I knew what I wanted and was going to be quick. The lady at the register was checking out some ladies and had to void the transaction and start over so she called for someone to come help her with that. Standing there just waiting to be checked out with a fussy baby I thought surely when she was done helping her co worker, she would check me out real quick. Wrong! She walked away and didn't even acknowledge me. I ended up leaving my lashes on the counter and walked out. So disappointed that they didn't even greet me. Little did they know that I am a former employee and a major shopper there. But I'm done! Sephora is so much better anyways. read more

Horrible experience at the salon. I went and got my hair done by Jessie, a nice guy, but a horrible hair stylist. I told him I wanted a light brown color on my hair and he made me jet black AND added blue tint because HE thought it would look good. I went and got my hair done the other day by a professional back home and she told me the color was so badly done, it ruined my hair. Which makes complete since because after the experience with Jessie, my hair was constantly falling out, chunks and chunks. Every time I would brush my hair, lots would fall out, after showering, lots would fall out. My hair was so dry and brittle. Everything about my hair did not look or feel good. Since he had done my hair, I have not wore my hair done ONCE because I absolutely hate how it looks. Save your money and go somewhere else for the sake of your hair!!! Completely destroys the integrity of it. Such a waste of time & money. read more

Don't waste your time here. The brow bar is always closed, or someone is on break. Three times I have gone in and there was no one there. The first time I was literally walking in and the girl was beginning to walk out for break and they asked me if I could just wait twenty minutes. No, I couldn't just wait around. Then the next time I went in someone was on break. Then for the third time at 3 in the afternoon I went in and the girl already went home for the day. I went at a reasonable time in the middle of the day, and I still couldn't get my eyebrows done. I will from now on be going to the ulta in Fort Worth, just so I don't have to give them my business anymore. read more

The people working are nice enough. But they are always out of products and take forever to get them back in stock. Forget about any of Ulta's promotions too. They are either out of the products or say they never received them. What's the point in being a rewards member if you can't receive any of the benefits? You can tell the employees feel bad whenever they don't have something, but whoever is in charge of ordering or stocking products needs to make a change. read more
