We were charged $180 for the tent and 5 small tables, which was their way to "make it right". What a joke! I basically just paid off this newly purchased carport they brought me. There are other party rental options out there and I would certainly choose a different company. So sad that a local Troy company runs their business so poorly.

They got back to me within a day or so of receiving my quote request. They had a great price and throughout the process they were great with communication. They also made it easy to pay the deposit and the balance by emailing me invoices, which I paid online. They handled all the communiation with my venue. I was happy with the quality of the chairs. Of course a few chairs had a knick/scratch in them, but these are rental chairs...you have to expect that. Seat cushions were comfortable. I was freaking out because my plans for lighting did NOT pan out with only days to find some other…read moreplan. I emailed/called a bunch of place in the metro Detroit area. Rob, one of the owners of EEG, called me without hesitation or reservation. He didn't make me feel like an idiot for calling 2 days before my wedding. He just assessed what I wanted, made sure they had the lighting to do so, gave me a quote and set it all up the day of the wedding. I received TONS of compliments with how beautiful the room looked and the amazing lighting and decor. My wedding theme was more romantic, with lots of votive candles, but the one thing I wanted more than anything (as far as wedding decor) were bistro lighting over the dance floor to look like my husband and I were dancing underneath the stars. He was also able to add the sheer cloth with stringed lights for our the back of our headtable... which really made a difference in the room! First of all, not that many lighting vendors even can do that. Second, EEG was the only vendor who attended to me with such short notice. When I talked to Rob and asked how he was able to do it, he simply told me EEG loves to do weddings and was excited for this challenge. They truly made my dream wedding come true. Rob is amazing to work with! He and the rest of the EEG staff are so amazing and very diligent workers. He told me he had 6 other weddings to set-up and tear down, but it did not interfere with the amazing work they put up for us. Hands down, one of the best vendors I've worked with!! Disappointing. We rented a huge tent, tables, chairs and lights from this company for our wedding…read morein June of 2013. The tent arrived and was put up quickly, which was good. However, once we went under the tent/canopy we could see mold everywhere. The company said they were coming out to clean it and apparently did "all they could do." The chairs were filthy and all 300 had to be wiped clean. The lights were scuffed, dirty and had leaves and cobwebs on them. Fortunately, our event was at night so the mold was less visible but the lights were clearly unclean. Throughout the night, the center pole (which went through the dance floor) was budged by children, bumped into and touched by my guests. Eventually it FELL OVER. My father (who thank God is a large man) had to run over and put the pole back into place. When this company did the layout for me I questioned the safety of having the pole in the location and I was assured it was safe. I took photos of everything and sent them to the owner who said he couldn't see anything wrong with the quality of his rentals. (If that was so, I wonder why he sent someone out to clean the tent in the first place...hmm) He also said that I was lying and people must have been climbing the pole and kicking it to make it fall over.... WTF! Anyway, he refunded me a measly 200$ out of the thousands that we spent at his company. All and all it was a horrible experience and something that will be with me every time I think about my wedding day.

This was at 11am in a Saturday, so they had only been open for an hour, with the amount of people in the building at that time, it's physically impossible for them to have used and emptied all the dispensers of sanitizer, unless everyone was sanitizing their hands every 3 seconds for an hour straight. When the staff was alerted that there was also no working soap dispensers in the men's room, rather than go and check, they argued and told us we were wrong. The inflatable throne in our party room was also disgusting and looked like it probably hadn't ever been wiped down with any sort of cleaning solution.
