My experience with Bath Professional was not good…read more I normally don't write reviews but the outcome of the reglazing was so BADLY done. I hired them base on their reviews. I'm a senior in the process of selling my house due to aging issues I'm moving closer to family. The company sent out 2 men on 7/7/25 to reglazed the tub the surrounding tile and sink. They were done in an hour to an hour 1/2. I questioned the workers why so fast, they replied there's 2 of them. I had that tub and the ensuite shower reglazed about 5/6 years ago. The company I hired did a beautiful job. Tub was very smooth like glass as was the shower he was here about 4 to 5 hours doing the work. After 5/6 years the tub had 2, 3 very small chips on the outside of the tub I decided to have it reglazed again along with the surrounding tile which was never reglazed. The sink had a hairline crack I decided to have it reglazed. They were done in no time. An hour or a little more? That was a red flag to me. Their website says what chemicals they use to treat with. The next day after it cured I felt the inside of the tub it was COMPLETELY full of grit on the bottom and all sides of the tub including some grit on the outside. The slip guard on the bottom surface of tub was sloppily done it felt gritty and slippery. I then checked the sink. It also had grit along the inside. The surrounding tiles had grit along the borders and sporadically around the inside tiles. The hallway newly installed LVT floor has a cast of over spray of the paint. Which I cannot get out. They didn't remove any of the fixtures they tapped them. And left the tape on for me to remove. I advised new fixtures are being installed it will leave a foot print of the existing fixtures, and it did. Because the fixtures weren't removed. I was livid over these mistakes made by these 2 men. I contacted the owner he sent them back out. I explained to them my disappointment in their work. He felt the inside he didn't seem to think there was an issue? He said I "can try to fix it" He gave me no assurance on him being able to fix the job. I expressed my disappointment in the job they did. He got defensive and walk out of my house. I contacted the owner, the worker told the owner I didn't want anything done. This is far from the truth. He gave me no assurance he could fix it, or there was anything wrong. That's when I got upset. The tub needed to be sanded down before they painted. The paint didn't adhere because of lack of preparation. The owner made arrangements for them to come back out again, the owner said he knows this man suffers from PTSD. This worker has an explosive personality. Very impatient with me. Should not be working with the public. I am extremely uncomfortable with him coming back out I requested someone else. It was not accommodated. And it appears this company does a lot of commercial work. According to their website. They haven't come out yet, I got ill and had to put this on hold. I contacted "family owned companies" they agreed there is no way this job can be done in 1 or 2 hours. They quoted 800 to 1k to fix. And stated: If the tub was previously resurfaced, the old finish MUST be completely stripped away before applying the new one. I don't believe this was done. Skipping this step can prevent the new coating from adhering properly, leading to surface irregularities. Which I believe happen poor or little to no prepping. Although the owner has responded by text to me I'm not getting any type of reassurance that these can be fixed or properly done by what I paid for. And did not offer to send someone else out. I asked several times for my money back. So I can move forward. He does not respond back to that question. I felt gaslighted they offer 100% satisfaction. Im force to accept working with a man in my home that I'm uncomfortable with in my house. I contacted Action News, filed a complaint with BBB, and consumer fraud. The company did NOT respond to any of them. I believe these reviews maybe disingenuous. I want restitution for the poor workmanship and for ruining my floors. The owners last text was call us when your ready. Update 9/18: A company came out today to look at the tub, tile, sink. The tub is starting to peel also has bubbles. The tub is completely gritty with chips of paint. The surrounding tile has patches of grit with over spray of paint. The sink is gritty with over spray. What I though was a stain from my makeup is not a stain. it's the original color of the sink coming through. On both sides of the sink The tub because it was reglazed 5 years ago had to be completely stripped. Chemicals did not work, it needed to be sanded down, the paint didn't adhere because of this. 1800$ this company is charging to correct ALL the poorly, improper work Bath professional did.
