They are well-priced and I've never had an issue with any extra charges or sneaky additions to the bill, plus they will call my mobile to let me know if anything major needs to be done, give me an estimated cost, and ask if it's ok to proceed. They are also careful to let me know if and when I can expect charges to come up in the future, ie. "Your tires are wearing down, you might need to think about new ones in six months or so", etc. They keep excellent records of my vehicle and always recognise me when I call, if not by name, then when I mention the year and make of my car. Instead of properly…read morediagnosing a problem they would guess what was wrong only to find that the problem was still there after they were supposed to have fixed the problem. $1,000 here $1,000 there and the problem still remains. Water pump they installed failed after 18 months. Starter motor they installed failed after 11 months. Nearly $1,000 spent on guessing what my fuel delivery problem was and the problem still remains. The one that takes the cake is when they said I needed new bushes. A grinding noise was coming from the left hand wheel but they insisted it was the front end bushes. $600 later the grinding noise was still there. I was furious and when I confronted them about it their response was, "The bushes needed to be replaced anyway". They said the grinding noise could be the left drive shaft so they replaced that. $500 later the grinding noise was still there. They then said they would get to the bottom of this problem at NO COST TO ME!!! When I got my car back they had replaced the drive shaft AGAIN then blamed my car for the problem. They said "It was the cars fault. It was 1mm out and we had to custom make a drive shaft to fit" I have heard some porkies in my time but that outright lie took the cake. Because they said it was the cars fault, they said it wasn't covered by a warranty so they charged me for the repair, costing me another $500. They also replaced one engine mount without telling me first. Lucky they allow part payments because I refuse to pay the amount owing. Now they have the cheek to threaten to hand the debt over to a debt collector. I am now in the process of making a formal complaint to the RAA. If that gets no result then I will take it further until I get justice. Be warned about this mob. They come across as caring and genuine but they are far from it. Oh yeah and that was just my car. They also ripped off my son and my friend. They installed a new alternator in my sons car and when that failed about 3 months later they blamed his stereo system and sub for the part failure and refused to repair it under warranty. Another repair they did resulted in my sons car breaking down the next day. It turns out they forgot to put the air cleaner back on. That made my son half hour late for work that morning. They also replaced his radiator with a so called new one. It failed within 1 month. They couldn't come up with a believable excuse so they had to replace it free of charge. There are many other things that went wrong with our cars thanks to them, too many to remember.

A few days later I got a call and my little Mitsi was booked in. The repairer kept me updated as to what needed to be done via message so as not to disturb me at work and let me know when the repairs were going to be delayed due to a lack of parts. He even checked my wheel alignment as he was concerned that may have been impacted. They were flexible about pick up times and we arranged for me to pick my car up after hours with them leaving my key in an inconspicuous place. Overall I was really happy with the work they did on my Mitsi and the customer service was out of this world.

The first time was for a service and a rather urgent repair, this happened to be in the middle of the Christmas/New Years madness with public holidays all over the place. Speaking to them over the phone, they found a time to squeeze me in and, when the repairs ended up taking a bit longer than expected, they kept the shop open for me so I could pick it up after work and not have to wait until after the long weekend. Both times that my car has been in the shop they have called me during the day to keep me updated on everything that's going on. The second time my car needed a repair it was for a cracked exhaust and not only did they diagnose this while I was still there, but actually lifted the car up to show me exactly what had happened and how it would be fixed. I've never felt like I was being taken for a ride or left out of the loop and everyone I've spoken to here has been such a pleasure to deal with. Most definitely recommend it.

Searched Yelp for a good local service centre as I've recently moved. Found Ultra Tune had a good…read morereview so decided to book my car in. Received a rough quote on the phone that sounded high. I had a look online into what I should have been paying the amount Ultra Tune quoted was almost 100% above the price Ford were offering as a fixed price quote. I figured if they were as good as the review perhaps it would be worth it. So I went ahead, got a loan car which is where the 2 stars come from. A few hours after dropping in my car I got a call several extra things all costing over a hundred so now my service was getting quite unreasonable in price. Some of the items should have been covered by the extra warranty I had on my car, Ultra Tune supposedly made a call but the information they came back wasn't even close to my warranty. I told them not to do any of the extra work, got my car back, sent my car to Ford for the next service everything fixed as expected.

The repairs are always done promptly and well and they offer a "chauffeur service" if you can't get home. It is a small, family run business and it is run well. John's other mechanic whom I call "smiley" because he is, and I cant remember his name, is also great. Last time I had my car in for servicing he noticed some other little thing on the body of the car that was bent out of shape (don't ask me any technical terms ) and went out of his way to fix it. I would highly recommend this auto repairs, especially for females who don't know anything about cars because you won't get ripped off! Tip: It is a little hard to find when you go for the first time as the signage doesn't stand out.
