As I came back near my mom and daughter there was a dirty looking old man who smelled very strongly of alcohol talking to them, standing very close while my mother was very clearly looking uncomfortable. He ended up walking away so I continued to shop. Five minutes later I look up and this man is standing there 2 feet in front of my daughter smiling at her and licking his lips. I walked over and took my daughter from my mom and told her we needed to wait for him to go away for my daughter to continue looking at the toys. He followed us again to the section we had moved away from him to. So we went back to the toys. And he followed us again. Finally I decided to speak to an employee. Before I could even explain to her what was going on, she gave me a very nasty attitude and said "Maybe your two year old daughter shouldn't be around him then." This employee was JESSICA. My mother just said "Excuse me?" We were all pretty baffled that she was so rude and dismissive about how uncomfortable we were before even letting me explain the situation. Then she continued, "Some people have disabilities." I really wasn't looking for an argument so we just said we'd leave our things and leave the store. I understand if she couldn't ask the man to leave just because we were uncomfortable and being followed, but she could have at least offered to have an employee keep an eye on things in case the situation escalated. Instead she was very nasty and unkind. Shoppers beware, there's a weirdo lurking around this store and Jessica will be of absolutely no assistance to you. Keep your babies close.

But I donate them here hoping to give them to someone who will get some use out of them and provide the jobs that the store provides. That said, it is a cr*ppy operation. With a sign that clearly states donations accepted until 6:30 p.m. but when you walk in you're told they stopped accepting at 5:30 because their hours are different. The sign out front still says 6:30 and they would not take my two boxes. So I will not be donating there anymore. I'll go down the street to Goodwill

When I called the customer service to try to get a time of the pickup, the representative had an attitude. When I suggested a courtesy call so people don't have to sit around all day waiting, she replied "We're doing a free pickup. It is your responsibility to call us to get a time." I replied the items you are getting are free to you in which you sell and make money. She replied Yes but we don't call. Some people wouldn't respond when we called in the past so we don't call. I recommended automated calls and she again said we don't do that. I have donated to your organization many times and after this, I will not do so anymore. It is obvious that Salvation Army does not appreciate the people who donate and their employees are rude.

After seeing his…read moreshop being featured on YouTube (T the Silver Stacker) I've decided to make the journey from Chicago to visit his shop in an old bank retail space. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was blessed to have been helped by Arthur himself. Very knowledgeable in the history of all things numismatic. Picked up a couple of items including some vintage gold and a vintage grease bar from the 1970s. The pricing was very reasonable as he will look the price up online along side you and discount it by a certain percentage. To be fair they need to make a profit. The shop is a treasure trove of goodies and part museum. Lots of history in that small retail space. Highly suggest to call before visiting especially if you are looking for something specific or selling a lot of items. Be patient with the staff as they are detailed and meticulous with their work. I went to a large local coin show that day and ended up with nothing, but the trip to Knight Coin more than made up for it. Happy Hunting fellow knights!!
