Honestly, I get so many compliments on my clothes that I bought from goodwill. I've found some really nice things for my kids too. The workers are always nice and friendly even though the last time my daughters acted like two velociraptors let loose in a pixie stick factory. I really enjoy coming here. You never know what you'll find! I'm Not obsessed with labels, I just want to look nice and be comfortable. I think all pricing is fair and kids clothes are always a great price. Heck I found a Tommy Bahamas kids dress for my daughter, and the most perfect holiday cocktail dress for me. I'm hooked! Also, no one cares if your clothes come from Goodwill and neither do your kids. Shoot, they found a stuffed mermaid there for $1.00 and they've been obsessed with it for three years. What I really enjoy is finding things that remind me of my childhood, like the giant clothespin reindeer I found. I have no doubt it was hand made. I snatched it up. It's a giant version of an ornament I made in kindergarten that my parents still have. You can really find some treasures here if you look hard enough.

Recently my trip to visit grandma I need serving platters for an event I was throwing. To my surprise I found over 4 platters and to top it off brand new Christmas lights! I walked away with only paying $20 bucks for four platters, 2 glass bowls, brand new never opened 2 boxes of Christmas lights and a happy wallet. For the most part this store is also organized and smell free. My kinda store. They also have deals and senior citizens discounts in which my grandma is a happy camper. JCPenney or "Penney's" as I recall from my childhood still has a good selection of merchandise in every category or department. They seem to have a clearance section in every department which has deals up to 70% off. It is nice to go to brick and mortar stores to actually see the merchandise and put your hands on it. Actually walking around and shopping seems to be more rewarding than sitting on your couch or in front of your computer and shopping online.

I didn't find anything I was looking for in the store. Mostly, solid paper pads and very few prints. Sticker section and embellishment section were not great either. I see all the time ladies putting Michael hauls on Youtube videos. Well, the Michael's close to me never has anything to offer on their shelves in Northern Indiana. I will be doing all my paper craft shopping on the internet from now on. I can always find what I'm looking for there. Pretty sad the way things are going and why stores go out of business.
