Sure enough after enough visits he was able to adjust multiple places in my neck that have been licked up for over a year now. Chiropractic medicine gets a bad rap. I remain very impressed with all who work at this organization, all of them very kind and caring people. I especially like the idea of doing some bodywork prior to the adjustments from the doctor. It makes the whole process easier and helps to lock in the changes, in my view. After almost any kind of deep tissue work, the body is rather like wet cement for a while. What I really like is the doctor's belief that a 10 minute massage right before each adjustment relaxes the body and prepares it for manipulation. not only that but every 4 adjustments equals on full hour massage. I have gotten significant improvement for my back pain, tendinitis, and joint pain since I started coming to the umpqua chiropractic clinic. The first part of the visit involves massage, and the person giving the massage is responsive to the patient's (my) asking for the message to be firmer, or gentler and to where tit's needed.
