I was impressed with the courtesy of the receptionist and the cleanliness of the office. After listening patiently and examining my problem areas, he explained to me on diagrams exactly what was causing my pain. He cautioned me that only visiting him few times will not cure my problems, I will need to take full and active responsibility to follow up with exercises and to improve postures. At the end of the visit he gave me a printout of various stretches pertinent to my problem areas (which I lost and he replaced on my next visit). Now I am free from my problems - my only regret is why I did not see Fahim earlier.

Within the first few minutes, I was no longer nervous as the team was very professional and explained the whole procedure to me. They also assessed my skin tone to ensure that they had the right setting to match it and also for the treatment I needed. During the procedure, the aesthetician was really gentle and ensured I was comfortable and also kept me informed of what to expect next. When the procedure was complete, I was given the nicest cooling mask to relax my face. The after care process was also explained to me before I left. My recovery was really quick - my face was a bit red (like I had been exposed to a little too much sun) the rest of the day but the next day, there was no sign I had anything done on it. I was referred to this dermatologist by my family doctor in Vancouver. Seeing this doctor was a…read morecomplete waste of time! I was in there to ask about what I could do about sunspots on my face as they seem to be getting worse every year. I know people who have "burned" or lasered them off or use microdermabrasion, etc... so I wanted to know my options. In what took about 30 seconds - this dr. blurted out 2 fancy names for the types of sunspots I have on my face, told me that because I have "dark skin" (FYI - I actually have very fair skin but because I am not caucasian, my skin is considered to be "dark") - he doesn't recommend removing them because the results could be worse. I then asked if there were any other treatment options or creams - he said there was nothing that he knew of that actually works. In the 9 minutes and 30 seconds that followed, he proceeded to talk non-stop about the vacation spot that my family and I were planning on going to (suggesting places to go, where to eat, etc...). It was like he HAD to spend 10 minutes with me and it didn't matter how those 10 minutes were spent. What a complete waste of time! If your family physician refers you to this guy - ask for someone else!
