This is absolutely the best place to get your wedding dress from! I had a unique experience where I fell in love with a dress online a few years before my fiancé proposed. When I began my official wedding dress search, I was still in love with this dress (Clara by Watters), but the designer did not sell this specific design anywhere in New Orleans. I was devastated and almost traveled to a different city to get my dress. I found the dress secondhand on StillWhite, but I felt uncomfortable purchasing without being sized. I found out from Watters website that Unbridaled carried their line, just not the specific dress I wanted. I called to ask if they could measure me, even though I would be buying secondhand, and they immediately fit me in that day. I'm so glad I went because my measurements were extremely different than I imagined and would not work for the dress from StillWhite. While I was there, Madelyn (who measured me) heard my story and told me that they could order the specific dress that I wanted from Watters! I was thrilled and booked a dress shopping day. They were incredibly kind and the shop was stunning. Madelyn and Kristin used my mood board to create a custom shopping experience for me with dresses that fit my vision. When we realized that I was still in love with the original dress, they created a mock up of the style by adding sleeves to a dress with a similar neckline. They were so creative and made me feel so special and confident in my choice, even when I didn't get to try on the specific dress before ordering! We ordered the dress and it came in about 4 months later. This was my first ever time trying on wedding gowns, and it was horrrrribleeee. I am not sure how they have only 5-star reviews across platforms unless they pay their friends to write reviews. I'll start by saying that I only went to two bridal shops before finding my wedding dress - this one and then MaeMe's in Metiaire the same afternoon. I'm disclaiming this info for a compare and contrast story, and to illustrate that it was not me as the problematic entity. The woman who was maybe the owner asked me where my venue was, and I told her I don't have one yet. She snorted and said, "Oh, so you decided to get the dress before the venue?" Uhmmm....Yes? Who's to say both are not happening at the same time? Why the logical fallacies? What is the attitude for? I sent both shops the same inspiration photos from Pinterest and told both shops that I did not under any circumstances want to try on mermaid gowns or dresses that clinched near the stomach area. Well, the only (ONLY) dresses they chose for me were dresses that clinched near the stomach. I tried the first one on, and I said, "This is the type of dress I DID NOT want to try on," and the sales associate (who was sweet, though didn't seem quite trained), said to just tell her if I liked the top. I said yes, I liked the top, but it was kinda hard to not get caught up in my bulging stomach!! (For reference - I usually wear a size 6-8. I have a small waist and wide hips.) A few of the photos I sent were of full ball gowns with very full bottoms and A-line. I know my style and taste, and this is the most flattering on my body type. Well, next came a piece of material to "tie around" the tight dress, to make it "look like a ball gown." It didn't even close all the way around, so I was still looking at my bulging stomach. I tried on maybe 3-4 dresses today - all had the stomach things happening. The saleswoman gave me my size OR SMALLER to try on. I couldn't even get one of them over my thighs!! The bottoms of all the dresses were SO DIRTY like someone had worn them through the Muses parade and put them back on the rack. (To compare - at my second appointment that day at MaeMe's, all dresses were A-line (as I requested or as they gathered from my photos), and they were all MUCH bigger than my size. They then clipped the dress in. All of them were completely clean.) At Unbridaled, I noticed they only had a few dresses, so I guess they only have certain sizes? I am a smaller-sized woman, and I felt HUGE, unattractive, and HOT (temperature hot). When I mentioned to the saleswoman that I had originally thought about sleeves, but I wasn't sure anymore, because I was already hot in the store with strapless, she said, "Oh, bridal sleeves won't make you hot." (Comparison with MaeMe's: They kept it ICY COLD because they said emotions run high and wearing a lot of fabric makes people hot! MaeMe's also put on separate sleeves so I could see how I liked it!) I feel bad for anyone who shops at Unbridaled who is over a size 0, because I basically had an "I'm ugly" meltdown for an hour after, and it was amazing I even made it to the next place. What's more, they had my inspiration photos, so if they didn't think they had dresses to match my aesthetic, they should have saved everyone's time and told me in advance. They basically said I should "imagine" the top of one dress with the bottom of another dress, and then the material over it to make it poof, and they'd order it. When they gave me the prices of the dresses that made me feel like an ugly stepsister, I almost had my second panic attack!! When I inquired if they had any actual ball gowns, they said they might get ONE in for July. LMAO. Finally, as I was changing in the fitting room back into my own clothes, I heard the woman who I assume to be the owner of the place say to the stylist, "I told you so," and then start laughing. I was the ONLY customer in the store. So rude. If you're going to start gossiping about your ONE customer, at LEAST wait till they leave! All in all, I'm happy about the horrible experience so I could write a REAL REVIEW about this place. How I was treated and how I felt at the other shop was a complete contrast, and they are the ones who got my business! read more

I really loved many of the dresses here when looking for my wedding dress last year. The owner spent a lot of time helping me and making sure I would get what I wanted in the end. They definitely have the most unique selection of dresses that I have found in Nola. I am the MOB. We had a wonderful experience at Unbridaled. It was our 1st day dress shopping, & 5 of us went (both moms, MOH, godmother, & bride). Kristin (manager) had been in touch with my daughter prior to the appointment & suggested sending pictures to give an idea of what she wanted. She had pulled some dresses & showed us where others were to look at based on our budget. She was *wonderful* about helping us stay in budget. When we tried to push the limits -- even tried to go above -- she was so sweet about reminding us so we wouldn't possibly fall in love with a dress beyond the budget we had planned for the dress. We had more dresses than we knew what to do with! It was so hard to narrow it down. Bridal shops typically keep dresses in an upper-mid size range so more brides can try them, so she clipped every dress my daughter tried on (she's about a size 6). We loved so many! We thought the bride made the fitted skirts look amazing, like they were made for her, but she wanted an A-line. Although the dress I loved most was fitted, Kristin really listened to the bride, who said she didn't like the way she looked in those. Even though I loved it, I wanted my daughter to be happy with her dress on her wedding day! One of the exact dresses my daughter had texted Kristin was actually at the shop, & she had pulled it, but she waited until the end to show it to us because it was out of our desired price range. She made absolutely sure we still wanted to see it. We did. It turned out to be the one we all mostly agreed on, but it was fitted on top of being out of our budget. I told my daughter we would boost the budget if necessary. Kristin even got a capelet that went with the dress from the back and said we could buy that to save money if it fit; it was one another bride hadn't been able to use. She also put an A-line skirt over it so my daughter could see the lines, which helped a lot, but she still wasn't sold on it. We were there beyond our appointment time (Kristin never said a word or made us feel rushed), & we had to leave quickly to get to our next appointment. (I won't trash that other shop here, but note: an elegant shop interior with a zillion dresses doesn't equal a great experience. Don't judge a book by its cover! We would take the simplicity of Unbridaled's interior & their stellar help over that other shop, which was unhelpful and downright rude!) My daughter texted Kristin while we were at lunch & explained why she thought she was having a problem with the dress & decided she might like the fitted in that particular dress. We were welcomed back even though we didn't have another appointment scheduled, & Kristin stayed after closing to help us. She let my daughter try the dress on again along with another one she had liked. We were pretty sure we had found the dress, but my daughter was still cautious & not overly excited about it. That evening, my daughter realized why she was having a problem with the dress. The one she liked online was a slightly different color. Unfortunately, the only one her godmother & I could find in that color was in Atlanta. We were trying to figure out how to get to Atlanta in time for their trunk show since my daughter had gone out of town in the opposite direction! She talked to Kristin, who said she did have a swatch (the same thing we were told by every shop we called that was within a 10-hour drive of us...) But she also said she had one of the designer's dresses in a color that was very close and would do whatever she could to help us. Meantime, my daughter & I started texting each other more dress pics. Everything we liked was unlike any of the dresses she had originally shown Kristin. We decided we needed to shop more. After she got back in town, the two of us went back to Unbridaled for another appointment. Kristin had dresses pulled, & my daughter apologized for changing her mind. Kristin brushed it off & got right to helping us find the perfect dress. After at least a half dozen more dresses, Kristin said to hang on, that she had an idea a little off the wall. She came out with a dress from the back. My daughter put it on, & we were struck almost speechless. My daughter kept looking with wide eyes & a huge, stunned smile. My mom was on Zoom on my phone, so Kristin Facetimed the MOH from her phone so she could join us, too. We walked out of the shop with the dress that day. At the LOWER end of our budget! We are doing minor alterations, but if she *had* to wear it as is, she could. Meant to be. It was in nearly perfect condition, especially considering it had been tried on by many brides. Kristin steamed it while we went to lunch & had it ready when we walked in the door. Every time we look at it, we are dumbstruck again. We knew the moment we saw it, & it is all thanks to Kristin & her dedication to making the bride happy! I can't say enough good things about my experience shopping at Unbridaled last weekend. Even before the appt they texted me to try and get to know a little more about my taste in dresses and what I wanted to wear. When I arrived they had pulled a couple things based on the inspo I sent them and it was exactly what I was looking for !! I found my dress and I loved my stylist and everyone made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. Will be referring all my engaged friends to this shop for sure. I'm MOH, and my bride and our small group didn't have a good time here. We made the appointment months ahead of time. From the beginning, there was very little enthusiasm from our stylist. She didn't ask about our bride's budget, or try to get to know her at all. Simply told us to "browse the racks". We weren't offered any refreshments, and the stylist just was not involved except in helping her into the dresses. Any dresses that she recommended and brought over were completely opposite of the brides mentioned style. We told her we wanted to see some bows and veils, and we never did. She mentioned "this is just my part time job while I'm in school", yeah, we can tell. I ended up calling MaeMe's while inside the shop to make a last minute appointment, because we absolutely couldn't end the day on that note. My bride was almost in tears. We had an absolute blast there with a super involved, caring stylist and free champagne and water bottles. read more

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE! My fiancee found her perfect jumpsuit at Unbridaled and it was quick and easy! I wasn't originally looking for my dress at Unbridaled but the owner, Kelsey, spoke to me about my vision anyway and got to know me. Over a month later when my fiancee went to pick up her jumpsuit, Kelsey asked her if I had found my dress yet and when she shared that I was still having trouble, Kelsey texted me, shared other dresses she thought I might like, and even had dresses from the Unbridaled Austin store sent over in just days so that I could try things on. I never felt so supported in my dress journey than from Kelsey and Unbridaled. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more
