I gave this one star because he kept the show rolling and no down time in between. so, i contacted…read moremickey to schedule a magic show in february for a birthday in march. mind you, i scheduled 30 days in advance as told and put my deposit down. mickey contacted me 2 weeks before the event to tell me that he had basically triple booked him and his other magician. so the only solution he had for me was to cancel or push the show back 45 minutes...which i had to do. it was a birthday for my 5 year old. so he shows up at the time he schedules...the show made the kids laugh, but the magic tricks were obvious to a group of 5 year olds. his equipment and props were dated and not very impressive. the show was more like 30 minutes instead of 40 with the last 10 for him to pack up...do yourselves a favor and save the almost 300.00 bucks he charges.

The show is a mix of comedy and magic with most of the big tricks at the end of the show. He included many people from the audience and even knew nearly all 20 kids names by the end of the show. The girls loved picking out a dress and getting their nails and makeup done with real makeup. The princesses are fantastic! Great voices, high quality costumes, wigs, and makeup. We had Elsa and Anna and they had such a cute entrance with so you want to build a snowman and let it go. We even had one girl a little nervous about the idea of a fashion show (which were the princesses twirling them, showing them how to curtesy, and doing a pose of a princess of choice), but they were super accommodating with her too (not everyone loves the stage!). As a parent, it was great because the princesses and staff handled serving the food and cleanup. I think most of the girls were a little star struck and acted shy, but all gushed afterwards about it being so much fun. If we had more kids, I think I would have opted for an extra half hour, but 1.5 hours was perfect for the crowd we had! My recommendation would be to make sure to remind your guests to arrive right on time, especially if you're having a bigger party! It's a well oiled machine, but it works best when on time!

The costumes were cute, decor cute, and concept is wonderful. The makeup room was amazing- but needed to be bigger- because that is where everyone wanted to be. I over all was very pleased head to toe. The only criticism is it needs a fresh paint job throughout and a bigger landing for where the princess ends/kids meet.

I've hired Drew multiple times for shows at my preschool. All ages loved it and he is always able to keep their attention which isn't easy at those young ages. He is great to deal with, easy to schedule and an absolute breath of fresh air in a world were magic often seems to be hard to find. He was very flexible in working with us to get the perfect spot at the club for the show and waiting a few extra minutes for all of the kids to get their ice cream. He even happily accommodated what we thought would be 50 kids that turned into 71! Then the show began! The kids were mesmerized- absolutely enthralled! Our initial request for information on availability and options was responded to in no time. Leading up to the event any questions we had were addressed in a timely manner. The team at ChildTime Magic gave very clear direction on the amount of space needed, and any other details to assist with making the performance run smoothly. From the beginning of the performance through the very end Louis the Magician had the kids' (and adults') attention. His routine has the kids engaged, and actively participating throughout. Our normally shy 5-year old birthday girl was super excited to give Louis a hand as his assistant with one of the tricks. In addition to putting the show on for the kids, there is a lot of stuff thrown in to keep the parents entertained as well. I highly recommend ChildTime Magic.
