    We Haul For You

Doug and Kolby are great people, I called Doug at We Haul For You, to fix what Unique Movers…read morecouldn't do. Kolby and his crew showed up on time, rearranged my 26 foot Uhaul that had been loaded badly already (moving to Alaska from MN). Got everything nice and snug, and then loaded what I needed from my apt and garage with a little room to spare. Kolby and his young crew were very respectful and moved things quickly, asking me along the way what should be loaded or not. My stuff was complicated. Got it done in a minimal amount of time too. The following day, I went to uhaul to pick up a car hauler, only to find out that they could only hook the trailer to the truck and help to load my vehicle, but they couldn't strap my vehicle to the trailer. Also the trailer didn't have straps, it was a toy hauler. I am a senior women, I don't know how to do this. After calling a friend for suggestions, and a tow company that couldn't do it, I called Doug. They were just finishing a moving job, he said they'd be there in about 30 minutes. And they were. Doug went with me into the uhaul store and picked out the straps I needed, and he and Kolby got my Jeep all strapped down. Even checked that the trailer was on the truck hitch correctly. They saved me twice, I am so thankful, I was finally able to get on the road. If you need movers, call Doug. Doug and Kolby are wonderful, and they will calmly, quickly and respectfully get your move done.

Ben and Vern were my two movers, and they were super strong, kind, quick, efficient, professional and had everything packed up in an hour! Once we got to the new place, they unloaded in the same amount of time, and helped me lay out the rug in the bedroom too! They took super good care of my stuff, no damages at all, and were encouraging each other throughout the process and it was great to see their teamwork! I am super appreciative of Doug, Ben and Vern for their help with my move! I would use them again in a heartbeat! Thank you, guys!

My elderly parents requested a quote (which I thought was way too high) but they were also told that the price could be adjusted depending on what actually got packed and moved and how much time the move took. Our Mom died days before the move so her children came in and moved her stuff and most of the apartment out. The packers were there for half a day and the movers were there for another half a day. When contacting Brenda, the best she could do is take 750$ off the total fee when 75% of everything had already been packed and moved. I thought that was extremely unfair and felt like they were taking advantage of them- and unsympathetic to the situation.

I strongly recommend you look elsewhere for moving and storage services. I had an acceptable moving…read moreexperience with them years ago. But my latest experience has been nothing but an expensive, months long headache. A significant amount of my property (furniture, lawn equipment, etc.) has gone "missing" while under their care. They have refused all reasonable attempts to resolve the issue creating an expensive and time consuming situation. They refused to refund a large storage fee that I paid early, but ended up not using. They charged me to deliver the "missing" property, and when that property was not delivered, refused to refund that charge. I was given various excuses about what happened to the missing property. At one point I was told the property was moved to the private residence of the former owner. Their story constantly changes. Each story is more absurd than the last. Property that was being stored was kept in a trailer with holes along the floor. There was significant damage to remaining stored items from mice and mold. They delivered someone else's furniture and boxes of household items mixed in with my own. If you use their services, I strongly recommend you take a thorough inventory before and after to make sure you have everything that is yours and do not accidentally accept things that are not. The estimate for moving was $1,500, but I ended up paying $3,000 and still don't have all my property after 3 months.

Midwest Moving Company turned what should have been an exciting relocation into a month's long headache. Our move from Fargo to Longs was riddled with damage, excuses, and a complete lack of accountability. * Damaged furniture -- Multiple items arrived scratched, chipped, crushed, or broken. A dining table and chairs purchased in 2024 were gouged. A dresser leg was snapped off. A mirror was chipped. Even dinner plates were damaged. * Outdoor storage box -- Completely crushed because their crew stacked heavy furniture on top of it. * Bose speaker stands -- Their crew disassembled them, lost the internal support rods, and then acted confused when they couldn't reassemble what they took apart. * Boat trailer mishandling -- They left our boat trailer tongue on the ground without using the protective wheel. Completely unacceptable. * Unprofessional crew behavior -- One worker spent more time smoking and joking than working. The supervisor literally left the job site to deal with his missing cat. * Lunch breaks billed -- They charged us for the hour the entire crew left for lunch. * Communication failures -- We called four times, left voicemails, and spoke with admins who promised callbacks that never came. * Billing issues -- Charges for boxes we didn't use, a "truck fee" and "fuel surcharge" that made no sense, and a verbal agreement about a rental reimbursement that they tried to short us on. After all of this, their "resolution" was to claim the damages didn't exceed a $1,000 deductible and offer a $300 goodwill payment--a fraction of the actual losses. If you value your belongings, your time, or your sanity, look elsewhere.
