That being said, the sales associates are extremely friendly and will go to any lengths necessary to find the right size, even phoning other stores and getting it shipping to their location for your pick up at no extra cost. They have something for everyone in the store, granted you're willing to burn a hole in your bank account- I guess that's why the customer service is so good. They have all the high end brands from Hugo Boss to Gucci to Lacoste to Salvatore Ferragamo to Fred Perry and other higher end designer clothing. If you something that is not quite your size, then their in-house tailer is brought up right away and tailored to your exact measurements. I remember the original Harry Rosen when it was just one small unit. Now it has expanded to three store lengths and offers a wide variety of suits, dress shirts, ties, dress and casual shoes, and also casual (but still high end) clothing. The service sets the standard for high-end clothing in West Edmonton Mall.

He picked out some PUMA x LAMELO Scooby-Doo collabs which he had been working for. Got to the till and tapped the Debit card. $184 APPROVED. But the Store's POS system simultaneously freezes. Calls made, they get the till running, but the till cancelled the transaction that they rung in but NOT the payment -- that already went through on the pin pad debit machine. Store says they have to ring it in again AND he has to pay $184 again. He doesn't have enough money because $184 is already out of his account. He leaves. They won't give him the shoes and won't provide any kind of transaction record from debit machine. They say bank will give us money back. We call the bank, they will not. Payment was posted. Store has the money and has to refund it. We go back to store and show them that money is out of the account AND we also have the bank talk DIRECTLY to the store manager to tell them that the store has to initiate the refund or cancel the payment transaction. The store refuses. We spend 2.5 hrs at the store, going in circles with bank, store manager and their customer service department. Their customer service agrees to refund the money and tells us it will take 24 hrs. But it now been several days and no refund and when we called to follow up again with their customer service department, they are back to square one of saying the bank needs to refund it. Of course the bank has no reason to refund random transactions. It is the store that has the money. So we are out $184. THE STORE KNOWS THE TRANSACTION WENT THROUGH. They have never denied this. They just think for some reason they don't have to give the money back. We have gone back to the store twice and spent about six hours so far on phone calls. They have never even once apologized or offered us any compensation for the time or trouble. And my son still does not have basketball shoes that he needs this week, because they have his money that he worked to buy them. CHAMPS SPORTS / FOOT LOCKER STOLE $184 FROM A CHILD AND WILL NOT RETURN IT. DO NOT SHOP HERE!

She told me they had some two for $40 but they were short sleeved and limited sizes. The designs were OK but not quite what I was looking for. The store is decent for NFL and NBA jerseys but if you are looking for hockey ones I would recommend Hockey Life or United Cycle. They have better and bigger selections. One thing I like about Jersey City is that the staff is really helpful and will go out of there way to locate the jersey you require and will make numerous calls to different stores to try and find it for you. So the service is good but the selection is just so-so.

Having…read morebeen in the Edmonton south common store a few days before, and observing many in stock, the deal was too good not to order. As I placed my order, it indicated that the downtown store was "Next Day Pick Up". Given that I wanted to pick up as soon as possible, I selected the downtown store, even though the location is terribly inconvenient for me. Approximately 24 hours later, I called the downtown store, whom after about 25 mins on the phone with various people, told me they had no record of the purchase. Of course, I couldn't go pick up the jacket, the next day, at a location that was inconvenient, because MEC hadn't even processed the Order as of yet. Great. I called the customer service line and spoke to a male who told me "this sale has caught us completely off guard and we're overwhelmed". No kidding?? The male told me that there had been staff cutbacks this year, due to how slow it had been, but suddenly the sale has regenerated sales that have overwhelmed the existing employees Ok ... the spokesperson then told me that my jacket was in Winnipeg and had to be shipped to Edmonton! What is going on here, MEC?? You hold a Black Friday sale and you're overwhelmed??? Then my next day pick up, at this inconvenient location, is in Winnipeg??? The kicker is December 16, 2024, I received an email from MEC telling me that my order has been cancelled. My goodness. I've been a supporter of MEC for over 25 years, and have never seen such awful customer service or a absolute lack of responsibility in fulfilling an order - for that matter, I don't think I've ever had a more disappointing exchange with any store, ever, than this experience. I will never again shop at MEC. Shame on you, MEC. Not the MEC I once knew

This is a store that sells stylish shoes for people who have developed a variety of back, leg and foot problems, i.e. us old geezers. My wife and I fall into that category plus we both have problems getting shoes that fit comfortably , especially when walking. I'm particularly hard to fit because of a leg brace that requires one shoe to be larger than another. Shoe Comfort had styles we liked and, more importantly, had the brand of shoe that had seen me through ten years of overseas and domestic trips, delivering Meals on Wheels and daily use. We found the size that fit the braced foot, so the owner worked for half an hour to put together the proper combination of inserts to make the other shoe fit. When we got home, my wife found that one pair she bought was slightly tight after walking around the house for half an hour. She returned with that pair, explained the problem and the staff went through the same routine for her to make one size fit comfortably. There was no charge for the inserts and the staff were pleasant while providing after-sales service (rare in retail). I should mention that our visit to Shoe Comfort took place during the pandemic. The store provided hand sanitizer at the door and a cheerful reminder to use it before poking around. Capacity was limited to four people and the four chairs were neatly socially distanced. As soon as a customer left, the chairs were sanitized and, as soon as we left, the owner cleaned he outside door handles. I have never seen such impressive measures, especially in a smaller store. We can't be the only people in Edmonton who have problems fitting shoes. To all the others out there like us, we found the place to go.
