I have never felt more comfortable leaving my kids in the care of all of the amazing staff here. They are truly like one big family and they make all of their students feel part of that family. There is virtually no staff turnover which is unheard of at daycares. Lindsey (the director) is so amazing at her job she really does care for each and every student and parent. The communication on a day to day basis is great you can always message the teachers and check in at any time alongside receiving pictures/activity updates. I also wanted to mention the summer camp for K and older was an amazingly run program from the camp staff to the activities- they went on so many field trips and my son had the time of his life. Everything was done by the book, lockers were provided as well as water. The testing room itself is comfortable. Unfortunately there was a small problem - the proctor didn't remember the username and password required to start the exam. It took 20+ minutes to get the exam loaded. In the end the employee apologized and it really wasn't a big deal to me. However during this time another person was having problems starting his exam and the proctor kept going in and out of the room to call someone for help. I felt really bad for the two other people testing in the room because I'm sure all of this commotion was distracting to them. The facility does provide headphones that could help with the sound but I'm a slight germaphobe.

Northern VA schools were by and large good, and known entities to my wife and I, having lived in the area for years. Friends of ours had a daughter who did after-school work at C2, which eventually led us to reaching out for SAT prep - something neither of us did. Miss Jessica deserves kudos for the effort she puts out to go the extra mile. I wish some of the school counselors, and definitely some of the teachers we have dealt with would take the same level of concern she did. I guess you get what you pay for, sad to say. Any time my wife had an issue, she seemed to step up and help. She's the one you want to deal with. They don't let you talk to the teachers, but we still got reports on classroom activity (it's three students at a table, not one on one), and despite not meeting them, Shawn had a good rep, and Ted always seemed helpful. We liked the idea of combining with other driven students, as sometimes our child can take a little extra motivation. SAT score went up, grades went up, happy parents, happy student. Overall, we're happy enough that we'll be looking here for after-school tutoring as well. We hope there's another Miss Jessica to make us feel at home again!

He attended C2 on and off as needed until he graduated from high school. My 2 girls are currently in high school and use C2 on and off when needed as well. The 2 hour sessions pack a "punch" allowing them to study for tests and get homework done with the help of their very experienced tutors. It has been so helpful to have C2 to help with their AP classes, SAT prep and language help (French or Spanish). I highly recommend C2 Education!
