It was £35 for the piercing and a bottle of solution to clean it with afterwards. The staff are lovely and there's only two full time piercers so you usually see the same guys. My piercer was hilarious and completely calmed me down in my pathetic fear of pain! He was really professional and was helpful in telling me how long it would take to heal etc so I'd go back again if I wanted anything else done. One of my flatmates is also thinking of going back for a tattoo which start at about £40 because the service was so great and there haven't been any problems with my piercing. I'd had it pierced a year ago at a well-known piercing…read moreshop in Central London but it had never fully settled, so I thought I'd try somewhere else to change the jewellery (and ask for a second opinion on how the piercing itself was faring). I chose Stotker as it's local to me and had really good reviews. I am *so* glad I came here. The piercer, Edyta, greeted me warmly and took me through to her studio. I'd brought my own stud, an internally threaded labret like the one I'd been pierced with but with a smaller gem. As soon as she saw it, Edyta expressed concern. She advised against wearing a labret in a nose piercing as they are so hard to keep clean, meaning you have to root around with a cotton bud and just keep irritating the piercing. I was so relieved to hear this, as it's exactly what I'd been experiencing - and we had a really good and frank chat about it. She suggested I try a nose screw with a tiny gem and a narrow gauge, explaining why it would be better for me, and I was convinced enough to go for it. She gave me a big selection to choose from. She gently unscrewed my labret (apologising as it was irritated and bled a bit) and inserted the nose screw. Despite the angry bump by my piercing, I was delighted with the dainty gem and felt I *finally* had what I had wanted. Edyta advised saline solution twice a day for two weeks, and guaranteed (with impressive conviction!) that the piercing would finally settle down. A week and a half later, and I can say she was dead right. I am completely thrilled to finally have the beautiful piercing I'd imagined when I'd first decided to get it done, and only wish I'd come to this great local studio in the first place. I've wanted other piercings but my experience with my nose put me off; now I feel curious again and will definitely come here next time :) And a word of wisdom - *don't* get your nose pierced with a labret stud. It's not fun doing saline soaks on a swollen red piercing twice a day for an entire year. Including on holiday. :/

I'd advise making an appointment rather than just wandering in. Facilities-wise, the actual studio is also small, bereft of a bench or similar, so having work done in an awkward position may be something of a challenge. Hygiene is no worry at all, as everything is sterile and wrapped; there's also a bench just outside, so you can bring a friend to sit and call moral support through the door. I have also a sneaking suspicion that the price is adjusted based on how much the owner and the artist like the design. This being effectively a tax on ugliness, I approve whole-heartedly.

She was nice but her vibe was kinda meh. Made me feel kinda down honestly. Or maybe that was just her face. I don't know. The lady who did my piercings on the other hand, was absolutely amazing!! She was super friendly, knowledgeable and quite informative. She walked me through the whole process before looking at my ears and realizing I already had so many piercings. She opened up the new instruments in front of my face so I knew they were following protocol. She marked me off and two holes were punched. I got pierced with a curved barbell which looked absolutely ridiculous on me. Left it for a day or so then realized that I couldn't wait for it to heal to change it so I got it taken out. Another piercer that I met even said that it was a ring meant for eyebrows... t wasn't what I wanted at all. So such a waste of money for me. The only good thing was that the piercer did pierce my septum correctly, and pierced it through the sweet spot. So it wasn't painful.

I'm a student in Boston and was visiting some friends over in Walthamstow and this studio was just down the block. I walked in hoping to discuss what I wanted with the guys in there and walked back out with an appointment for the next day. Having been pierced in 2 different establishments (hairdressers + gun = FAIL) prior to discovering this little gem I did what anyone would do and get a friend to guinea pig it out first :p Since said sacrifice, I've been to Eclipse for 5 of my piercings and 2 accounts of stretching and have to say that I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. The staff are chilled out, approachable and always willing to spend time with their customers and go over your options to help you get what you want. The studio itself is spacious, an extensive range of jewellery to look at for any type of piercing you could imagine and a whole load of tattoos to gawp at while you wait to be called in. Relaxed vibes, metal music, comfy sofas = win. Piercings are done in a room at the back of the shop. Everything very clean, sanitary and the piercer will talk you through the procedure step by step as she's doing it. She's a pretty cool chick as well might I add. Prices are pretty good. I got my scaffold/industrial done on Monday all for the bargin price of £30 which includes the piercing, 2 hoops and the scaffold bar they'll put in for me when it's healed.
