They neglected to place a moisture barrier down and installed it directly over the concrete subfloor. Since the floor began warping and peeling more than a year ago our children have cut their feet numerous times , even our dog has injured his paw on the splintering floor! Numerous contractors and even the inspector from the flooring vendor agreed a barrier should have been used. Until now Interior Floors has assumed zero responsibility/liability. The answer we received from Interior Floors was that a barrier was not necessary and it's out of warranty tough luck!

A great job was done. It is beautiful. We needed a window in the TV room repaired and painted. It is back to the way it was originally. Beautiful. Some water damage needed to repaired in the laundry room and the guest bedroom. Both areas are now as good as new. Maybe better. Are you beginning to see the trend? The baseboards into the Master Bedroom were in need of work to make them beautiful again. Now they look like brand new. A wall not on our original list of work was showing some water damage. They completely repaired the wall and repainted it. The fascia board around our lanai was completely repainted. Six requested repairs completed in very short order and the seventh repair, found while the other six were being worked on, was also done. We are amazed at the professionalism of the workers and their commitment to detail In doing our job. I won't use anyone else.

Following numerous attempts to rectify the problems they were hired to address and the additional issues they caused, I strongly advise others to proceed with caution when considering this company's services. In the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, we hired Talent Painting based on their impressive five-star review. Unfortunately, the experience failed to meet expectations! Moreover, I have several text messages from Gus, the owner, promising to address these problems. Our open concept living, dining, and kitchen area where they repaired a ceiling crack that spanned the kitchen area and performed other drywall patches. However, the ceiling texture appears unsightly now. Please refer to the attached images for reference. Additionally, there were missed spots during the initial painting attempt, and they repainted some parts again. Regrettably the paint still does not match, and we have been living with a two-tone ceiling ever since. Our home's ceiling-to-wall joints were sealed with caulk, masking the imperfect paint application. However, this caulk eventually cracked and required removal. That created a bigger mess, and you can now see where they had to touch up paint from that now. Furthermore, the molding that was installed had separated from the wall, prompting additional corrective actions. The touch-up paint in our master bedroom exhibits a poor match and uneven application. As a result, the entire room required repainting, and the contractors showed little regard for protecting other areas. Gus' crew used my cleaning supplies and abundant amounts of paper towels, leaving my house in disorder. Upon asking them to clean up, I was informed by Gus that it is common for homeowners to hire a cleaning company after the work is done! While relocating our sectional resulted in the damage of the sturdy steel brackets that held its pieces together. These brackets are internal components that cannot be simply reinserted once they have been forcefully removed and distorted. As a result, the sectional now disintegrates when sat upon. Gus has assured me that they will fix the issue, that hasn't happened and then tried to say I said it was already broken! I possess numerous messages between Gus and myself containing assurances to enhance and correct their inadequate workmanship. The only concern he expresses is my removal of negative reviews!

At 4:30 I texted Allison to see if they were coming. She immediately called me and explained that "time had gotten away from them because their A/C went out!" So we agreed that we would reschedule for Saturday July 31st. Again, - no show by Chris or Allison. No phone calls or texts from them either. Being an engineer in the construction business myself; I recognize the importance of communication, thoroughness, client relations. Each one of these areas was ignored by Allison and Chris. This in of itself, warrants concern of how well a project would be completed by them (if it got completed)?!?! To emphasize - they never called or texted back. My wife and I gave up our plans for the 2nd Saturday in a row in an effort to meet them. The lack of consideration was/is extremely disappointing. My suggestion to improve their customer relations: Hire a "planner/receptionist".

The white washing on my hardwood floors get more compliments than almost anything in my building. I worked for a large flooring company chain in the metro, and it doesn't compare to working with this locally owned business. Chris has more knowledge and experience with flooring then almost anyone I know and everyone I recommend him to will continue to go back.
