My boyfriend and I were in Label Shopper today and it was the worst experience I have had in any store in Meadville. Please do not go and support this business. I decided to shop around this store today as I haven't been in the store for a couple years and wanted to check out the expanded location. Well, that was a big mistake. I was heading towards the fitting room when I decided I needed to use the restroom before trying on clothes. They do not have a bathroom. I figured it was no big deal, and placed my selections on a clothing rack near the fitting room, planning on trying them on after we came back. We left and were only gone max 15 minutes. My car was parked near the entrance. I decided to put my outer layer flannel in the car as I was getting hot. We returned to the store and I was excited to grab my clothes to try on. An employee comes at me while shouting to GET OUT. I was confused and the employee kept shouting at me. She called me a thief and overall was saying nasty things to me. The level of disrespect I was shown there today is astonishing. I understand that people may steal there, but the things she said, WITHOUT even checking the cameras and having real proof, is disgusting. She waved an empty hanger at me and said I must've stuffed something under my clothes. I desperately tried to tell her that I had to go to the bathroom and I didn't go to the fitting room. I told her I would let her look in my car. I begged the employee to check the cameras and stated I would never steal. She said in a snarky tone "I will. But you need to leave before I call the cops". My boyfriend was pissed and pushed past her and grabbed my clothes I was going to try on to show her and she seemed to understand then. She backed away and her apology wasn't genuine after that and we quickly left angry at being accused for something we didn't do. I know a couple of other people accused of stealing there for no good reason either and having the cops called on them. The irony is I DIDNT EVEN GO IN THE FITTING ROOM YET. I was going to be a good paying customer today and honestly spend quite a bit of money. I'm disgusted and hope this review helps others to make the decision not to support this business. They falsely accuse innocent people of stealing and make them feel embarrassed in public, without reasoning. If they are so paranoid they need to lock the fitting rooms or have someone back there monitoring how much people take in instead of treating a honest customer like they did.
