The prices here are hefty to put it one way. I saw shoes priced at $180, $220 and I don't even want to remember the other price tags. It seemed quite out of place for the shopping centre that it is in. The other shops in the centre are relatively cheap but this store was quite over the top. The shoes were quite original though. There were brightly coloured wedges, sandals, heels contrasted with plain coloured of different styles. There was a large range too. As well as shoes they stock a variety of luxury handbags - also with 'luxury' prices. The bags were very beautiful but not deserving of such prices, which is why I have docked a star off. The staff in here seem to target people who look like they have money. They latched quickly onto the elder ladies in the store while ignoring me - the younger person in jeans and a jumper looking at the pink and yellow wedges. Fair enough I didn't have any money so their assumption was right but it still isn't very nice to be treated that way. Goodbye second star.

The prices are varied, while there are some very expensive shoes over $200 these are more often the very dressy ones. There are also plenty of well priced ones I usually find I pay around $110 to $130, and I have snapped up a few bargains at arond $60 a pair as well.

Located a couple of K's behind the big mall this store offers a surprisingly awesome level of selection. With seven donation bins waiting patiently out the front and a whole basement full of stock this gives you some idea of their level of turnover. There are several racks devoted wholly to designer clothing and retro/costume racks with actual vintage pieces. Don't get too excited though, the staff know their stuff and price the stock accordingly. It's still cheaper than looking for vintage pieces around Collingwood/Fitzroy but don't expect back of the church shop prices. There is a huge selection of kids clothing, bric a brac, sports equipment and electrical goods. There is also A LOT of vinyl, I found Carly Simon and ELO without even trying. So if you're up for the drive (public transport is almost impossible) Doncaster Salvos is worth a visit.

The sizes here are also quite small and the shop caters best to people from sizes six to twelve. The shop assistants in here are really nice and are good at helping style outfits. They welcome you when you walk near them and seem genuinely friendly rather than wanting to push you into a sale. Catalog has a great variety of pretty dresses, nice tops and stylish jackets, which are suited towards nightlife rather than the everyday. In saying that, some people obviously wear more formal clothing daily so it could suit everyday occasions.

The prices here are really cheap and the last time I went they had a $20 discount rack of dresses out the front. When it comes to snapping up a new casual dress for summer this a great place to come if you are on a budget. The staff here are quite friendly although the store does get busy so don't expect to be welcomed every time you come in. Obviously they will serve you eventually but get in line. Prices for full priced stock can vary up to $150 for things like leather jackets or very detailed dresses but mostly stock is under the $100 mark. Check it out next time you have a party to go to.

It doesn't suffer from the over-expensive second hand fever that is sweeping our beloved stores (ahem Brunswick Street), and every time I pick up something and have a look at the price I don't have to immediately put it down and walk away with my head hung. There are always some great retro vases or platters in the window that hark back to a time where lurid orange and brown were chic and big belt buckles were king. Even if I don't end up buying anything, a short trip here is an instant pick me up. The atmosphere is fun, the sales assistants are friendly and the products are very kitsch.

There are clothing sizes ranging from size 8- 24 so literally anyone can fit into something from here. As well as the variety of size they also have clothing to suit every occasion with dress, casual and formal options. The staff here are very helpful although they tend to focus their attention on one customer and anyone else will have to wait for quite a while. This can be a little annoying, particularly if you only have a quick question or if you are waiting to pay. If you're the one who is being helped though, it is pretty fantastic. The shop itself is clean and well set out. There is enough lighting and it had a fresh feel. Why only three stars? Well it isn't my kind of shop, but it would be great for people like my Mum who dress differently to me. Also I didn't get served for about ten minutes and there was another lady waiting with me who was getting quite irritated. Otherwise the store is fantastic.
