Union Baptist Church is a family-friendly baptist church with 300-500 members ranging from young children to seniors and everyone in between. It is a historically black church where everyone curious about life in Christ is welcome. There are a variety of ministries for youth, women, men, choir, outreach, drama, liturgical dance. The worship music is soulful and reverent and includes a band of musicians. The pastor Rev. Thomas is a faithful man after God's own heart who preaches the word. He genuinely loves the "branch" of the body of Christ that the Lord has called him to minister to. His wife, leads a women's Bible study, and she is a passionate, strong supporter of the church, its ministries and members. My home is in another state, but I visit as often as possible and always feel recharged and inspired in Christ by the time I spend with the good people of Union Baptist. read more
