This is a pretty good option for a fast-casual meal. The menu has several options starting with a basic burger or veggie burger, and expanding to chicken options and their signature burgers which come with 2 patties. If you get a combo, I believe you have the choice of fries or onion rings. I opted for a veggie burger and added caramelized onions for $0.99 with fries and a soda. I was pleasantly surprised not only by the flavour of the veggie patty but also the size, both were great! The fries were delicious and really crispy too. It's a great option for a quick and inexpensive meal. Even the ice creams and milkshakes are really well priced. I think the best deal is for sure the $3 beers they sell. read more

If you're looking for a quick and inexpensive burger combo, this is the place to go. The patties have a more "real" consistency, the fries are a good thickness and crispy. They also have jalapenos as a topping which is sweet. Very consistent product, I always leave satisfied. You can think about this place like Harvey's with better fries. Side note that they play late 80s pop hits at a substantial volume all the time. They had a lot of great tunes back then! I dont understand all the hate on this place. It's a cheap burger place that does a great job! The burger is always super tasty, fries are amazing. It's super cheap for a lot of food. Their milkshakes are amazing too. Beer is $2.99 a bottle which is one of the best deals on the city. It's no fancy restaurant but it's prices reflect that for good tasting food! read more

Good burgers, their fries are very good, beer is $3 a bottle though they only carry Budweiser, Bud Light and Mill Street Organic. Typically very clean, and the staff are pretty friendly. read more

Not my first time, and won't be the last. Burgers are juicy and done well. Usually get the fries, and they come out golden and hot - crunchy outside, soft inside, just the way I like. They also serve beer there, so if on a summer day you want that beer and burger, give this a shot. If I were to critique anything, I wish they had a seasoning for the fries, like a Cajun or Chilli style, similar to NY Fries/South St. Burger. Like I said, I'll be back. read more

Went to Union Burger for a quick dinner on Wednesday night. Wasn't crowded and meal served fairly fast which was good. They had organic Mill St. beer which goes really well with their burgers. Their burgers are OK. Meat was good and veggies were fresh. However, bun did NOT tasted fresh. Also, their ketchup was a too sweet for my taste. Fries served in ok temperature however, most of them were the side part of a french fry where they were over fried. If you are looking for an OK burger for a decent price, this can be the place to go. However, if you are looking for some GOOD burgers, there are other places to go in town. read more

Make sure you come here with a full battery in your laptop. They won't let you plug it in to charge because it apparently costs them a lot of hydro. The manager literally unplugged my laptop charger and told me I couldn't use it. Okay other than that. read more

My family and I really enjoy this place. The burgers are great and we love the fries. Plus, you can get a beer with your meal instead of soft drink- I haven't seen that in a fast serve restaurant before. The chicken fingers are pretty good too and the milkshakes are delicious. I've been here twice, and I'd characterise both of my experiences as "meh." First visit: My husband and I came for a late lunch on a Sunday. Despite the place being mostly empty, we ended up waiting for our food for approx 15-20 minutes. My hubby got the chicken club poutine, which was excellent. I got the regular burger, which was bland as cardboard. There was absolutely no spicing, and even with added toppings, the burger was devoid of taste. The pop machine had lots of selection, which was exciting, but it was hard to use. My fries were good. I decided I'd like to return to try the poutine myself, although I didn't want another burger. Second visit: Just came back from my second visit and it was incredibly disappointing. I went with 3 co-workers. 3 of us ordered poutines and 1 ordered a salad and burger. I ordered first, so when my buzzer went, I was surprised to see it was my co-worker's order. We switched buzzers and I expected my order to be next. 10 minutes later, all of my co-workers had their food and Union Burger had completely forgotten about mine. I went up and (after waiting a good 3 minutes for someone to notice me waiting) asked about my food, and they were oblivious. I mentioned my co-workers would all be done eating while I was still waiting for my food. They asked me to sit down and wait, after first asking me 3 times if I was waiting for the Buffalo Chicken poutine (to which I answered back, 3 times, "No, I'm still waiting for the Chicken Club poutine). 5 minutes later, they gave me my order in a "to-go" bag, figuring, I guess, that I wouldn't want to sit and eat even though I'd originally asked for my meal for here. What was even more disappointing is that after I FINALLY received my food, I didn't even get so much as a "Sorry about the mix up" apology. I asked if they had comment cards. In response, they gave me a free burger card... which is only apparently valid on Wednesdays. I don't want a free burger - I want to voice my disappointment at the bad service. And if I did want something from them, it'd be either my money back, or a free poutine since that is what I went in to get. Offering a free burger is a bandaid solution, and it's not even for a gourmet burger! Just their regular, bland as dry toast burger. Despite the fact that their poutine is great, after 2 subpar experiences in a row, I will spend my money elsewhere - preferably somewhere with better customer service. read more

Hello everyone, came to this location on September 27 and ordered the all American combo (super over priced) received the burger and fries after 20 minutes. Fries were super cold, the patties was were burnt. When I arrived the floors were dirty along with the tables. Service was not good, got the impression that they didn't care. Because of the service, dirty store, wait times and overall the quality of food for the price I give it 1 star. Would not recommend. read more
