I think they have a branch city centre but with this place just down the road it's perfect. Whether it be drinks, sweets, crisps to satisfy or you need some practical stuff like magazines, books, stationary supplies, greeting cards, wrapping paper, etc. Also as a newsagents they stock smokes, cigars plus national lottery ticket sales. Why 5 stars for a newsagents? I often take my niece and nephew overnight and the following morning if they've been good, whilst out and about we always finish up here and they pick out something from the little toy/gift area (wins me some awesome auntie points), the staff are always so friendly with the kids and patient. The kids like to pay the man by themselves and I love that they never rush the kids, they often comment on their toy and share a smile so this, ye know what, is just so hard to come by these days. Just another shop in our small village working hard to keep up community spirit :-)

It had such a wonderful stock of wide variety of vintage wares, knick-knacks, books, albums, clothing, many unique finds and my most favorite of course is, the vintage costume jewelry! I left her shop with a little bit of everything and a lot of the vintage sparkly jewelry. I found her shop to be like a lil treasure trove. The owner Ita was very nice and so helpful, you could tell her passion for vintage was in her whole being. For those Vintage Lovers out there, its a must-visit place to feast your eyes on! I sent my contact info and Fionnuala at the shop called me within an hour and helped me through ordering the right flowers. She even had all the information on the person that passed away and where the flowers needed to go. There was a change in funeral homes and she made sure my flowers were not only picked up but then got them to the church on time too! This was a 4 foot spray so it wasn't that easy to manage. My family called me the next day and said the flowers were beautiful and very tastefully done. If you want the best in class service and products, order from Scarecrow Flowers!!
