My back was hurting( due to working in yard 4 hrs) the massage chair was So amazing as I was having my pedicure The owners of Unique Nails were out of town ( for I think , much needed time off ) There was a concern I have with a customer that I was standing next to( I watched and heard the whole transaction take place) . This beautiful, very pregnant Spanish woman was upset, Ryan was checking her out and he charged her $55+30 = $85 .She was very upset that he charged her $55 for the dipped nail ! Well, that's what I payed ! So Ryan took $10 off !!! So she only paid $75 total . Why I'm upset ..... She posted that she was over charged ( no she wasn't ) and didn't mention the $10 off she received ( and shouldn't have ) How dishonest she is !!! This is when I feel that the "customer is always right" is WRONG !!!!! Ryan was right yet he kindly gave her $10 ! Thank you for the character you are made of ! The owners will be honored having you take care of their business The moral to this story ..... don't post anything until you have time to think the situation out and No emotions if you can As a critical care nurse, people don't feel good and Hate being there! I alway take the best care of my patients and bend over backwards for them & family! Yet they will complain about me and their care My parents raised me and my brothers that your Character Counts and I'm a Christian and I represent Christ in me ! Please think before you write! OK. So I moved up here from South Texas and I'd been hesitant to get my nails done somewhere that I'd never been. I finally decided to go after work after reading a lot of good reviews and seeing customer pictures. I think my first mistake was that I went at 6. The person that did my nails was a man, I believe the name on the receipt said Oanh. He was friendly, however I wanted coffin nails and he didn't seem to understand how to get the shape. I asked him (very nicely) to fix them two different times and still the shape wasn't there. I finally just said "I guess that's fine" because he must've been left handed and just kept working on one side and bringing it in further and further. If that makes sense lol. Another man checked me out while he was still working on my nails. He brought me the receipt and asked me to sign. I was so unhappy with the shape (none of them looked the same) and I didn't even want to leave a tip but I'm not an ugly person so I wanted to leave something- so I tipped $3. The man doing my nails peered over and sighed out loud ‍ which I thought was rude. The color came out great, it's a powder color. But after waiting 6 months to do my nails I was really disappointed and wished I would've gone somewhere else. Everyone seemed very nice and friendly there and I'm sure they are amazing at doing regular square nails but if you're looking for an amazing coffin, I'd try somewhere else. read more

I was looking for a good place to get a gel manicure and my eyebrows waxed and I've found the place! When I walked in they were very friendly and immediately had me sit down to begin the manicure. I didn't catch his name but the young man was very friendly, nice to chat with and most of did a great job! I have never done a French manicure before (not a fan but my boyfriend likes it) so I decided to have him do it. He did a fantastic job and I actually like the results. The girl that waxed my eyebrows did a fantastic job and even tried to fix a previously bad waxing. She suggested I put coconut oil on my eyebrows to help them grow then come back to have them shaped again. I appreciate their kindness and professionalism and the fact that the salon was very clean. It's also the first time that I've had my eyebrows waxed and didn't breakout afterwards so bonus points to them. I highly recommend this place and I'll be back. read more

This is the BEST nail spa in Odessa hands down. I have been coming to Becky since they opened and it's been wonderful. The decor is elegant and inviting. The staff are friendly and great. They offer drinks as soon as you arrive and make sure that you are happy the entire time. The owner is excellent and makes sure all services are completed to my satisfaction. I live about 30mins away from this spa and pass many nail shops on my way but I would travel as far as I had to to get to this place. It's amazing. Oh and you also get a 10 day nail guarantee on dipping powder - that's awesome! My nails last a long time and they are BOMB all the time! I have searched all over Odessa and San Angelo and tried MANY nail salons that offer the DIP powder. Everywhere has been a disappointment. They're always un-even, bumpy, slanted, and don't last. I bumped into a girl that had the DIP powder on her nails, and they looked AMAZING!!! I asked her where she got them and she told me about this place, my mom and I went and got our nails done, if you know me you know that Iam very observant and notice everything. The woman who did my nails did amazing. Paid attention to what she was doing and was gentle to not cut my cuticles. They also had me take a picture of the color I got so that if I need to go back because a nail broke we wouldn't be sitting there wondering what color I had. The staff is very nice, talkative, and very observant. DEFINETLY will be going back! read more

I have been going to Unique for years. The prices for some are expensive but you are paying for quality work. The owners work at the salon and are always there to resolve any kind of issue. Becky is the owner as well as one of the nail techs. She is the BEST. She is very honest about what is good for your nails vs what just makes them look good. Very caring personality and easy to talk to. She is great at what she does whether its intricate designs, the perfect shape, etc. Did I mention that the ambiance in the salon gives you all the feels. I have extremely short nails and Kylie was able to do beautiful gel extensions WITHOUT any glue on tips!! It looks so natural, and even other clients were commenting on how wonderful it looked as Kylie was working on them~ She was able to shape it so naturally, it really looks like the nails are my own! I had a fun time chatting with Kylie, and the overall experience was really the best I've had from any salon. We were found this place on Yelp. We were in town for my sisters wedding and four of us needed mani pedis. They were able to schedule us all at the same time and were ready for us when we got there. The entire staff was beyond nice and very professional. We had such a fun time there and our nails looked great. They had SO many options for gel polish and were very helpful &patient with picking out colors. Prices were great especially for being in Honolulu! I love this place! I have been to MANY nail salons in Odessa, and have been disappointed by most. I did nails many years ago so I am very picky and have higher than usual standards. Unique nails gets it right every time. I have gotten my nails done by a different nail tech every time and I have loved them every single time! I will not go any where else. I have found my fav salon in West Tx! Lyli is my absolute favorite for pedicures, she is so professional and does an amazing job from start to finish. I appreciate her for taking time to take care of details! This place truly is a SPA like their name says. I needed a super last minute dip mani and these guys did not disappoint. I originally wanted a ombré dip design, but since I came in near closing they told me I didn't have enough time. My nails came out super cute though, and it's been over 2 weeks and they're still hanging in there!The only place I will get my nails done in Odessa. The salon is clean in side.This is hands down the best place I've ever been to get my nails and toes done. I've been to super high end spas and low end walk in places. This place beats them all- in quality and price. The pedicures are just as long an amazing as you'd want them to be and the shellac nails have always been completed within and hour or less- including soaking off previous color. People are friendly. I love this place. It's clean, relaxing, and staff are professional. I enjoy the soft music and shows on Tv. It's all about the customer here.
