The best haircutter anywhere in the US. This is not an exaggeration: my mother and sister have both flown from Virginia almost exclusively to have their hair cut by Unique. What's so great about her? Aside from her fabulous no-nonsense but loving attitude, served up in a thick Boston accent, the moderate prices are almost unheard of for a hair salon of this quality. Most importantly, though, Unique is a magician with hair. With one look at your hair, whether thin, thick, short, long, frizzy, or limp, Unique sees the perfect cut and, with a few well-placed snips, has you out of there looking perfect in no time at all. Wow! What a great experience! I moved here and didn't know where to go to get my hair colored and cut. Unique was amazing! She is really incredible with her knowledge of color. I'd brought a paper with what my previous hairdresser had written down what she'd done and Unique actually suggested something a little different, and she was spot on. The color blended better and looked so soft and pretty! Love the cut. Super friendly and nice, both of the ladies at this salon were phenomenal! Fantastic experience. And also reasonably priced. I've paid much more for inferior color jobs that had to be re-done and damaged my hair. Although busy, she kindly worked me in on the same day and I received the exact haircut that I've been trying (unsuccessfully) to get for the past year!! Unique has been my hairstylist for a long time, and I mean for years. A few weeks ago my mother bought her services for doing my bridesmaids and my hair and makeup for my wedding. It was amazing. She and two of her co-workers set to work on a variety of hair and the outcome was beautiful. I wish I could post pictures of the hair of my bridesmaids and my hair because it was an amazing experience. I recommend her and her co-workers for anyone's wedding to getting their hair trimmed. I've been going to Unique for a year -- yes, that's her real name and trust me, she is! Unique is very talented in her skills with hair of all kinds. I have fine hair and she cuts and styles it better than most places I've gone. Because of my fine hair I've been taking a hair vitamin called Viviscal...this product actually works to make your hair stronger and the hair shafts plumper. Unique doesn't sell it -- check it out on line but, she noticed the difference in the quality of my hair. She gets you in and out feeling much better, is fun to talk to and I highly recommend giving her a try! read more
