I've had two other roofers look at the work and they both agree that the shingles were not installed properly and that shingles should never have been installed on a flat roof. I wanted a metal roof but their salesman said it would be very expensive and that his contact wasn't getting back to him for prices, etc. I needed the work to be done before I left to help my elderly father for a couple of months. When I returned, the rain leaked through my roof and damaged the ceiling plus all my bedding down to my brand new mattress. He takes zero responsibility and is asking that I pay him when we haven't come to any agreement on the issue! I feel like he's trying to intimidate me since I'm a single older woman. Maybe he is, maybe he isn't. But his business ethics are totally sketchy. Do not use this company for anything!

But I gave them a chance and have them inspect and take a look. 2 men pulled up on the driveway and introduced themselves. I allowed them to go ahead and inspect. The inspection took awhile so I knew then they were inspecting the whole roof and not only the problem area I addressed only. When they were done with the inspection the sales manager I believe gave me a folder pamphlet with papers and quotas of 2 price point. He gave me a FULL ROOF REPAIR quote. And not a SPOT REPAIR that I anticipated. He mentioned having the insurance come up to cover costs and also perhaps deal with legal action if insurance do not want to cover. He then mentioned he knows a "legal" person to contact if I needed it. That part of the volunteered info in my opinion I knew I need to find another company to deal with my issue. When I asked him - If he can just fix the issue I need to have fixed he blew it off and had no answer. I knew then this company only deal and want FULL ROOF REPAIRS from customers if not they feel its a waste of time I guess. He stated to me he will email the pictures they took of my whole roof so I can show the insurance company. I NEVER received those photos up to this day. We spoke to this man all of five minutes regarding the repair process and mentioned that We had an idea about placing weather vane attachments for a projected Christmas decoration on the apex. We didn't discuss the mechanics of it but asked if it was something they might do. We were informed that it wasn't part of their job and that any damage from the vanes could invalidate the warranty. We agreed that we understood. This asshole never asked details about the installation or how we were putting the lights up. He reported back to our Property Managers that We were going to damage the roof and consequently they called us with a series of threats about not damaging the roof. I called their Offices and asked in a loud manner under what agreement did they have any right to report on our intentions without really knowing what those intentions were to the Property mangers. The men were efficient and workmanlike, breaking only for lunch and one run to the lumberyard to get more wood, and another sheet of steel. Other than that, the Gage had made a good estimate and most of the materials were ready for the work. We are now considering a full roof replacement due to new understanding about the poor quality of the initial roof installation. I recommend A3. I had a yard full of drink cans and sandwich wrappers all over my yard. The crew took it on their own to close a vent on my garage. I brought it to the attention of the company and I was told they would take care of it, wrong they just tiled right over it. While removing the old tile they ripped three holes in my lanai screen. Thry broke loose some stucco and had to come back and re-stucco that area, in the process they slopped the stucco all over my new tile and to add insult to injury they busted one of the new ridge tiles and patched it with the remaining stucco on May 13th and as od June 18 no one has been by to fix what they left. When compared to the many other roofers that installed roofs in my community I got the worst of the worse. I would not recommend HD Roofing to anyone.
