The food in the sit down restaurant isn't the best though they have plenty of vegetarian options aligned to each meat option it's limited. Cheap hot drinks and free if you're an ikea family member Monday to Friday only. Never tried so cant comment on the coffee. The only bug bearer is the layout as you kinda have to walk around the whole store to get to the exit...no short cuts but obvious why that's the case. Extremely busy on a Sunday morning right after opening.

I have bought bed/sofa/chairs over the years from here, and like to have a wander and window shop occasionally. It has some wonderful, quirky items and soon has me redecorating (mentally that is!). It has a huge range of carpets/rugs and flooring and an even bigger selection of fabrics. The slaes staff all know what they are talking about too!! A rarity in these days of sell it and sell it cheap! It has a coffee shop, but last time I was there it didn't even do a cappacino! So no points there, but then that isn't why you go. I thoroughly reccommend a visit. We will all be the poorer if Hopewells goes too, and it is not that much more expensive, particularly at sale time.

We were looking for wall paper for one…read morewall in our main bedroom in fitting with our 1790-1830 revamped and castellated manor home and the amazing "new" 1890 antique bedroom furniture. The selection was almost overwhelming but we quickly narrowed down to the perfect 1895 design! The owner (William) is amazing, friendly and helpful. Great service and we left as two happy customers. NOTE if you are from out of town your sat nav (GPS) will take you close but maybe a mile away. As he advises at the bottom of his website - call his cell phone if you can't find him (as we had to) - it is worth the trouble :)

You can help yourself to vegetables, which are always being topped up. Puddings are not so great, but I never have room for them anyway. Afterwards, it really lovely just to wander round the plants and shrubs outside and get some fresh air while walking off your lunch. There is always a wide choice of pretty plants and shrubs to chose from and the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. The prices however are quite high so it's worth shopping around if you're looking for something inparticular. I'd just go for the carvery! :0)

Whether you have a fish tank or fish pond you will always find something here that is different to anywhere else. The fish selection is good and there are real dedicated people to advise you/ educate you. This is also a great place at Christmas as has some really good Christmas gifts/ decorations that are completely unique to the garden centre. The garden funiture is also great... the £2,000.00 they want for one of my favourite statues is a little out of my price range right now though! The café here is good too so you can quite easily spend a good 3-4 hours at the garden centre.
