First time coming here while visiting the short north. Just your general convenient store but it's got great pedestrian access on one side and parking for cars in the back. Store is well stocked. Prices are a bit higher than normal on what you would normally grab. read more

The door says open 24 hours. Here at 11:11pm on 4-15-25. Doors are locked, 2 male employees walked out from the back, saw me and other customers waiting at the door. They smiled, shook their heads no, then walked back to the back. Management needs to find the employees working this time and fire them. This entire UDF has been renovated, almost to the point where you forget about the little tiny one that sat here years ago. If you need an example of how much this area of Columbus has changed, take a good look at this UDF. I know it sounds funny, but seriously. Conveniently located right off High St. in the Short North, this little store has all the basic human necessities without making you head all the way to Kroger. Food, beer, chap stick, medicine, and even freakin' milkshakes. When it comes to the staff, they honestly crack me up. By no means are they great at customer service, but they're all characters and get the job done. I'm glad this UDF got a face lift. Thanks for being convenient when convenience is key. read more

I've heard only good things about their milkshake but unfortunately this milkshake wasn't very good. It was too thin and melted super easily. As for the interior of this location, it is amazing. They have totally upgraded the place and it has everything that you would need. There's about 8 parking spots in the back which is helpful considering it is in the heart of short north. The staff was not very quick to respond. So it took longer than it probably should have. But I will give them another try! read more

This UDF was completely remodeled, just like pretty much everything else in Short North. Now it doesn't really have much character anymore, just like pretty much everything else in Short North. One thing that hasn't changed is the staff: they're still as jaded and slow moving as they've always been. Don't let me go here ever again. I don't know what I was thinking when I stumbled in here early one morning after a night out. I mean I literally stumbled in here. I browsed a bit, became irritated because a majority of what was stocked I could not eat, but somehow I ended up buying a pizza that was suppose to be cooked in an oven, but instead I tried cooking it in a microwave. What was really strange was the fact that I ended up not eating a slice of that pizza, instead I slept next to it all night...who does that? This guy. If you are a soft serve addict on a budget like me, this place is a godsend. They always have specials like $1.49 deep freezes, etc. $1.49 for a delicious large cup of fro yo mixed with candy? Yes please. Only downside is at this location, there is one particular worker who often mans the ice cream booth, who is slowER than molasses, by far.Which means the line can get backed up and customers start looking like they are about to jump over the ice cream counter and murder the guy with his scoop. Last summer I had a coworker that took daily 2:00PM runs to this place for an ice cream sundae. Needless to say she finally cracked under the pressure of working at a non-profit and took employment elsewhere. I went with her a few times but never wanted anything because the interior of this place is kind of dirty. I am also more a slurpee fan over ice cream which they do not serve. I live right down the street so I'm in there a lot and they are usually very nice and helpful but that's only when I have the normal employees helping me. I know it just a udf and they probably are not making enough money but this man that was working when I was just in there was so rude all I wanted was my pack of cigarettes and my Gatorade and he basically threw the cigarettes at me and I said I'm sorry I forgot my drink and he said to me with an angry voice " you couldn't of grabbed that first" and shook his head. There was only one other customer and he was getting Ice cream and we both said we would not be returning if he is working. I would much rather drive to Kroger than deal with him ever again.
