Family meal: 12 piece fried chicken with jojos and two sides
    Valerie C.

Really great fried chicken! I know what you're thinking: this is a gas station. Ok, but the chicken is really good! When I gave a piece of the batter to my three-year-old and asked her what she thought of it, she closed her eyes and raised her hands. It looked like a religious experience, and we were laughing so hard. We felt the same way! The jojos (potato wedges, battered and fried) were just as good. Some other potato wedges have an odd texture. These were perfect. The mac n cheese and mashed potatoes were nothing special, and the sauces were ok. Don't bother with the creamy ranch, IMO. But that chicken. My mouth is watering again. Just a note that the 12 piece meal was more than enough for four adults and a three-year-old. We had some leftovers. There are not too many places where we can feed all of us so economically. They also have chicken tenders if bones aren't your favorite to mess with.

    Pizza and chicken tender!

They have random hours and are not consistent. Gives off a gas station vibe more than a restaurant one

This gas station is located on the southbound side of High Street, just north of High Banks…read moreMetropark. Like everything else on High Street, getting in and out of this place during rush hour, or nearly any hour of the day can be a bit difficult, especially if you are traveling northbound. The store is clean and well lit, as are the outside areas, and the staff is friendly. They carry all the typical convenience store products, such as chips, coffee, energy drinks, and of course gasoline. I've never been to a Meijer before, so I can't say if they have a fuel loyalty program similar to Kroger or not. All in all, this place is a solid convenience store, but like most convenience stores, nothing to write home about.

I needed to have some blood work done today. As we were driving towards home, I glanced at the fuel…read moregauge and realized I needed gasoline. I try to keep about a half a tank of gas in the car in case of an accident or a detour or other possible delays when traveling. I was looking for a station to get gasoline and saw that Meijer had gasoline for $2.67 a gallon! Traffic on Rt. 23 south is really crazy and getting into the the right lane to turn in was an adventure all by itself! But the adventure had a great ending.... gas for $2.67 a gallon! They also had chips and soda inside that I could grab and take with us after refueling. The people inside were very nice and quickly processed the order for my gas and snacks. This is likely a place where I will stop again on my way back to the north side after seeing my doctor in Lewis Ctr.

Needed a quick meal, probably on the road, and this was handy. Easy access from the main road,…read morealthough right turn only when you leave, so a pain to head back towards 71. Plenty of parking. The standard Sheetz inside, with lots of snacks and drinks, and made to order food. I wanted the onion petals I saw on their website, but they do not have them at this location I guess. I got the sliders, thinking they would be easy to eat in the car, and indeed they were. They held together well, they were pretty big for sliders, and they weren't messy. However, they also weren't good. I got the beef ones, and the burgers were horrible. Grey, gristly, unpleasant tasting. 10 years ago, I would've disdainfully called them soy burgers, but nowadays even the worst veggie burger is far better than this. The buns were just OK, the cheese was plasticky. I got two and they were wrapped together, which is fine except that I was hoping for them to be wrapped individually, which would've made them easier to eat on the road. I didn't end up finishing them, even though I was hungry. They were that bad. I also got a bag of Doritos, the new sriracha ones, which were pretty good and have a tiny bit of heat. Also, they've been advertising the heck out of their Colonel Custard donut, and I like things like that, so I got one. It's fine, absolutely nothing special. I'm not sure why they are making such a big deal out of it. And a Mountain Dew slushie. Barely frozen, mostly melted by the time I got back to my car, so half a drink cup of half liquid, half slush left. Prices are decent. Service is very minimal but friendly. It's interesting that this particular Sheetz gets a lot of bad reviews, so clearly something is going wrong here.

I'm going to concur with the first two reviews and give it two stars. Our group wanted to sit at the table, which was an experience in itself because the chairs made a loud scraping noise when you moved them. This isn't a place I would willingly go to again.
